Her acting in this scene was unbelievable. It perfectly captured the shock of grief.

This was one of the rawest portrayals of grief I've ever seen in media, especially for a generally more lighthearted show.

For me this was the most heartbreaking scene in all of The Great 😢💔 the scream and pain in Grigor's "He's dead" and silent crying from Catherine..gosh, this is really sad and heartbreaking scene 😢💔 Gwylin and Elle are absolutely incredible 🩷

Catherines reaction here is tragic, but Grigor, man. Fuck! That's HAUNTING! How the fuck did this show get cancelled?! I've got three episodes left and I KNOW this shit ain't gonna be resolved by the end of it!

They cancel streaming shows before their fourth season so they don’t need to pay royalties to the actors.

@@tcsnowdream9975 Also because what kept the show so funny and clever, was because Peter & Catherine had awesome chemistry. In history Peter dies after being dethroned by Catherine. Life moved on, Catherine took on more lovers, but is that something people want to see? She did great things and is known as Catherine the great for a reason.

I've generally been in awe at the acting of the guy who plays Grigor throughout the whole show, he's incredible in his portrayal of emotions, making watching it feel raw and realistic

The dessert was salty and sweet, unimaginable for the time. The flavors on her tongue sparked the realization of confusing perfection. Brilliant!

I broke for her… even if the show isn’t real. The acting is amazing. The ending of the series is also heart breaking. So sad they canceled it. But it’s actually bitter sweet this way.

I had Netflix on mail order when I first discovered Elle fanning. Phoebe in wonderland changed me! She’s brilliant. I hope Hollywood didn’t do her dirty like all the others.
