Pro tip on those ASG springs. If youre using a swiss-cheesed piston, youll want to remove the paint because over time, it will flake off and make a mess in your cylinder. Use a lighter to heat the end of the spring and the paint wipes right off.

7:06 I think you can also mention the leviathan v2 optical unit which have more functions like doubletrigger which is awsome ( especialy in semi only battles :)) ) and it have precocking function also activ brake, full adjustable burst mode, settable delay between shots, let you select fire mode on all selector positions ( like safe ), corectable RoF, 100A fuse, real trigger felt like on real gun ( also adustable mechanicly ), auto diagnostic mode for cycle time and showing info about precocking time, semi cycle time auto cycle time, motor start/semi/auto current which is the best thing that can tell you alot about problems with shiming, lubing , motor power, right gears ratio , if you have so strong spring and etc. For eaven more info it shows the mosfet and processor temperature, batery capacity and its real voltage in real time. It also have the bluetooth connection so you can change your settings during few sec eaven in battle using any Android or IOS phone. Also keep stats like fired shots and etc. I the app is also auto debuging program which inform user about owerspinning, high mosfet currents and it will notifi you with motor vibrations about low batery cap and high temp as i mentioned before. And that all come for cheaper price than Titan and also with prefactured trigger in 6 different tipes which you have to chose before purchase. Also good wires and preinstaled next gen dean conector so its ready to go out from the box. Its also suitable for both tork and speed motors ( i prefer tork + diual sector gears 18:6 (shs) and 150+ spring which give you more power and also keep pretty good RoF. ( i am not playing CQB and mostly shooting at 70+ m with RoF +- 30rps. which is insane ) ( if someone wana help upgrading AR15 or M4 lett me know i can tell that in this case best buy will be specna arms body which is low cost but good quality and replace all internal parts but you can keep the GB shell which is also good inaff ) barrel - prometeus, hop chamber maxx sport, piston head maxx sport 2rings, as i mentioned gears i prefer most is shs18:6 dual sector gears with comb with high tork motor and also 150+ spring which can the GB shell handle pretty well without any drilling to lower the tention, also dont forget to buy good rewerse lash (cnc for best) and full metal teeth piston ( lighter = better or you can drill out some material from it. ) Thats pretty all that i can sugges. For more info just ask. :) I am also want to know if you have some ideas about how do you change this setup to make it eaven better so just lett me know if you have any suggestions. Also thanks for that video. I already know most of the info but its werry nicely and simply sayed and i also learned something new :)) Good Job man. Good Job.

Recommending a dsg to first time builders is a horrible suggestion. They will have to deal with a lot more problems pme, tappet pme, timing issues etc. also the stock specna Orion gearbox will not last very long with an m150/sp150 it’s only rated for m120 with stock internals. Currently all you need for a solid 28rps build is shs 13:1, Perun hybrid, 22-28tpa motor. It will last longer, is easier to build and doesn’t require a stupid strong spring. Also lambada barrels are better than prommy

Primarily a better spring, hop-up system, and longer barrel. Is there a way to figure out what parts are compatible and what parts aren't?

idk about HPA but GBBs don't really have that many upgrades that you need, NPAS is a nice to have thing but also comes with the higher end GBBRs, most mods on GBBs involve alot of subjective things like gas efficiency or heavier recoil, depending on the users's wants and needs... and barrel/hop up upgrades are the same for all of airsoft guns i imagine, just GBBs have their own seprate stuff that isn't compatible with AEGs sometimes

I have a CYMA Platinum SR-25 14.5" and I'm wondering what I should put into it. I run it as a DMR platform so any tips would be helpful. I'm also in the market for the CYMA Platinum M4 QBS 13" once it comes back in stock and I wan't it to perform well in all areas. Range, velocity, accuracy, rof, etc. I was thinking about throwing in the EMG/Maxx CNC Aluminum Pro hopup chamber, but I don't know what bucking and nub would work for it. Also maybe upgrading the inner barrel and motor are something I'm looking at. ^ I posted this comment on the last video and now I have some additions to make. For the SR-25 I mentioned, I want a lighter trigger pull, with a much faster response time, which I wonder if it's possible with the already quick response trigger it has. Same for the M4. For the M4 I want to have as short a trigger pull as possible since I have a quick trigger finger during semi auto use. For the full auto bits I want a high ROF and good gears and spring to match. I would like to switch the gearbox shell with CNC aluminum shell by EMG to match the hopup chamber, and if possible, a red flat trigger to replace the stock trigger. If you've got any tips or if you can come up with a list of things I need to make these builds great, that would help a lot.

Hello, I have a bolt m4 with the b.r.s.s. System. It’s seemingly getting worse and worse the more I use it and I’m looking into upgrades. I’m wondering if I may need to over compensate to make the pistons / brss system to run at its absolute best. Right now it jams up anytime I go into full auto so my idea of the build is a leviathan set to semi and binary only along with a better motor and 11.1 but my only concern is I haven’t seen anyone else build with the brss system and don’t want to add stuff and it still be jamming due to something I know nothing about. Which makes me want to remove it but then I lose the awesome recoil feel. Also I’m not even sure if it would run without it? I would send it to a pro but I want to learn more about this stuff so I can be the doctor of my group😂

Top upgrade: Join the dark side and go HPA. As someone who refused to use anything other than an AEG for 8 years, I’ve could’ve saved myself so much more time, and money by eliminating the hassle of buying many parts along with several varieties of the same part from various manufacturers trying to perfectly mesh something together. It would be one thing if there was a standard on parts, but every manufacturer makes their tolerances just a little different, and you really won’t know if an upgrade part you buy is gonna end up working until you try installing it. What you’re left with when all said and done is an awesome AEG, a ton of extra parts that didn’t work for your build, and way less time on your hands. Yes, jumping into HPA can be expensive, but fully building out a high performance AEG can be just as expensive if not more expensive. They’re also a lot less reliable and will require much more maintenance due to their nature of having so many moving parts. In my personal experience, I field my HPA guns weekly, and in 4 years of ownership and use, all I’ve had to do is change o rings twice; both times being under a 2 hour job. For those of you who are new and are considering taking the plunge into the realm of “high performance”, I recommend continuing to use the current gun you have and save for a drop in engine; making sure this is really a hobby you like and wanna make financial commitments towards, rather than upgrading piece by piece. You’ll be saving a lot of time and energy working/researching the tech rabbit hole, to be used for more field time, or just overall time to pursue other life ambitions.

suppressors do almost nothing to quiet an AEG. The biggest sound from an AEG is from the gearbox noises. there are some fairly esoteric things to muffle the gearbox, but overall, it's usually not a big deal. Now if you really want to be sneaking and a lot quieter when you shoot, the get into HPA guns. In those cases the foam filled suppressor actually works. I use a Kythera engine in one of my M4s and in with that gun, the loudest part is the click and reset of the trigger. It doesn't sound anything like any other airsoft gun out there. Some of the other HPA engines are even quieter yet as they use electronic trigger boards and are basically silent when it comes to the gearbox making noises. Baffle the air coming out of the barrel and you get a really quiet gun.

so i am new to tech stuff and i am trying to get into speed soft and was wondering what parts would be good for a faster trigger response and higher fire rate i am using a v2 gear box on my krytac trident
@dainiusvysniauskas20493 жыл бұрын
There are multiple ways to achieve high speed build. Easiest (and probably the most expensive) method is to simply install a HPA engine. If you don't want HPA, then you'll need ETU that replaces standard trigger contacts (and preferably has options like pre-cocking), decent quality piston, gears and motor. You can go either 18:1 gears with balanced or high speed motor or high speed gears (like 13:1) with high torque motor. There are also DSG builds, but they are difficult to do and can cost nearly the same as HPA, performance difference between good SSG and DSG isn't that big.

So I can’t get a better spring for more FPS as a first upgrade?
@evikecom3 жыл бұрын
You can! But up to a certain point. If the spring is too strong for your battery and motor, you're gonna have a bad time. If the gears and piston and gearbox can't handle the stiff spring, things could break. Our techs recommend not going above an M130 spring without upgrading those other parts.

@@evikecom oh okay, I was also trying to get into contact with you guys about bucking upgrades as well,but for now,my Specna arms sa-c07 shoots about 380 with .20s so I’d assume it’s around 350-360 with .25s. If wanted maybe closer to 400 with .25s what spring would be best without having to do gear work?

@@evikecom my gun also came with a mosfet so I can use an 11.1 lipo in order to power a stiffer spring.

Looking to get a CYMA Sport M4 (Keymod 13") and upgrade it. Ive heard that it def needs a tight bore, can someone recommend the type of barrel I should use? I also am looking to install a mosfet trigger and would like to know what else I should try to replace to get it working A1.

Dont buy any of cyma or crytech. Its pre-tuned guns but non of its internal parts are top branded and you will end up replacing them in no time. Go for good quality body and GB shell like in Specna Arms M4/AR15 guns which are cheap and have low cost internal parts so you will spend less money in final. In tight bore systems i strongly suggest to buy Prometheus/Laylax inner barrel in combination with cnc hop up chamber like maxx sport i use and the prometheus rubber ( mentioned in video ( blue or purple (soft) i think the part number is 6263 if i am right )) cause from the hop up chamber out its the place where all the magic happening. :) before changing internal GB parts like piston head, cilindre head, cnc cut out piston and air nozzle. You can also reduce the air leaks using teflon tape where its possible and lube all part which is needed with platinum lube ( never use syntetic oils like WD on internal parts and use only platinum lube for airsoft guns ) to fix the rest air leaks. In case of changing internal GB parts go for parts from one manufacturrer ( i preffere maxx sport with 2 O seal rings ). Hope it will help you with your problem and dont hesitate to ask about anything else you need to know or help with. :) I have AR15 made from scrap by using just SA body and its GB shell ( which is in fact werry good and can stand high RoF and springs up to 150+ without any driling to reduce tention of GB shell ) so i have some experiences in fixing problems which follows each gun upgrade. :) I dont have exp with gate or perun mosfets/units but i have a lot of exp using leviathan v2 mechaical and optical unit and if you dont want to end up setting it up and correcting presets for many lonely hours i can suggest to use gate or perun units. :)) For me is the leviathan the best but its pretty spoiled bitch when it comes to configure all the presets to fit your gears, motor and spring which can be realy flustrating at some point :) cause it have more advance self detection system than gate and perun and so it continue to bother you with problems which is not so important or risky and the gate and perun dont eaven notice them and in case of leviathan it wil end up with errors and gun will stop shooting until you unplug batery and reconnect it again. :))
I also was wondering that 😅 i dont want to spend that money and break my precious gear box. Wouldn't mind spending the extra money to make sure its getting properly worked on

My personal advice. When you want more performance then standard AEGs... HPA your gun... it will end up costing you about the same in the long run... and nothing beats HPA.
@MauricioRodriguez-os5bd3 жыл бұрын
Totally agree but a lot of fields don’t allow HPA
@JasonFolk073 жыл бұрын
I'll give this the performance is better on hpa no doubt but the cost verys depending what you get ect. A basic hpa setup where I live is around 600 to 700+ for everything. Honestly tho I would like to have one but the price on them seems to go up at that price I could buy krytac tr47 :p
