I just noticed this annoying trend on Amazon where sellers put a low price but charge insanely high shipping. This is really annoying on Amazon as they hide shipping costs until you are in check out. The devices will cost less on ebay 100% of the time.

It's weird how different everyone sees the prices. The standard for me has cheaper shipping (like, $50 instead of $180), and the more expensive one (with the fender and rear rack) includes free shipping. I know Amazon likes to screw with the prices (especially for non-Prime members), so I wonder if that is what's going on here.

Amazon has degraded (yes, even more....Bezos needs a new yacht) over time, from an absoutlely worthless search system to not providing a "Free Shipping" option and pricing items beyond anything like the fake the price in their adds. Your getting paid to try and sell a cheap amazon e bike that will probably last 6 months and then the bike will break in two because the conponents are cheap and the welds are not strong enough. Never buy cheap its not worth your life if your handlebar stem suddenly breaks and you end up in a heap on the ground with serious injuries. Cheap is not better. Cheap conponents and not structurally sound..
