@Ella Harry... I heard they changed their formula or added new ingredients that dries out the hair as per my girlfriend warned me to stay away from Cantu especially since I'm transitioning. So yea, you just confirmed it. But do some research on what you feel your hair needs, but it's trial and error. I'm on the same boat and Shea moisture did not work for me for long and it kept getting harder to detangle and brush through.

I’m sure you are lovely girl but every time I see people uploading videos about best hair products for a particular “hair type”, I find it misleading and people can end buying the wrong products for their hair. Porosity is what you should be focusing on. I spent hundreds of pounds on products only to realise that it doesn’t work for my low POROSITY hair. For example, cantu is terrible if you have low porosity hair.

are you nigerian and im a guy on my 3rd month of my hair jouney and its around 1-1.7 inches. I use Jamacian black castor oil leave in and either coconut oil and black castor oil and also shea mouisture curl enhancing smoothie. im wondering what should be a good day and night routine(shampoo, deep conditioning, co- wash schedule) and how i can grow the hair in the front more
@AdannaMadueke6 жыл бұрын
Yea I am Nigerian. Good job on your hair journey and the products you got already. I would suggest Leave-in conditioner and Jamaican black castor oil (this will give the oil enough opportunity to penetrate into your hair follicles and castor oil also has a strong smell so I like to avoid using a lot during the day) for night time. For daytime, I would just use coconut oil on a water sprayed/ co- washed hair and then curl enhancing smoothie to define the curls. During the weekends, we could do the proper washing with shampoo and also intense deep conditioning and hair treatments. Keeping your hair moisturized is definitely a major key to hair growth. I would love to know how this process goes for you. Please keep me updated! 😍

My fro is starting to look more like a fro now but it’s still short... how do I deal with shrinkage and how would I derange my short hair?
@MsKris9885 жыл бұрын
You may want to try the Cantu leave in conditioner...Try putting about a nickel portion in your hand, massaging it through your curls all the way through and see what it does after that. This may help with shrinkage but I don't know what kind of curl pattern you have. Hope your hair journey is going well & you've found products that work for you. ☺️

@yolandapierce42584 жыл бұрын
What I do for my kids is take some warm water put it in a spray bottle, add a couple drops of leave in conditioner and shake it. Their hair is super curly and tangles horribly when wet. With that mix, I can easily get the comb through it.
