i make up a Garlic concoction. Cheap garlic at samsclub. A few spoonfuls in pressure cooker with some herbs like peppermint oregano. Then blend it with my immersion. Strain well. I add some polysorbate80 with some essential oils neem lecithin. All that in a one gallon sprayer. Works better than my neighbor using chemicals. Works for mosquitoes and them other buggers. Plus i can use it around in my garage, porch etc.

Don’t pull the paper off the lid on Orthene. Poke big holes in it and you won’t dump a bunch in one spot. You can spread it more evenly.

I prefer Over'n Out by GardenTech in my lawn simply because I can knock the top off the mound apply and water in so there is no damage to my Zoysia from the dirt mound being left there till the mound dies. Thanks for the info on these two products. I have used Terro products for years with great results and will add this and the Orthene to my arsenal and reserve the Orthene use for the lower 40. Keep em coming.

Hello sir, I enjoyed the video. I have used the Orthene product and sprinkled it like you recommended, just a small amount. I checked on the ant mounds a few days later. I treated about 10 mounds and all 10 the ants were gone. Very effective product. Thank you!!

Hey BYD! Love the channel and thanks for the tips. I have two ant mounds at my place, a big one in the front and a smaller one in the backyard. I used the Terro Ant killer and multipurpose product but mine was in a shaker bag. The instructions on my particular product said to water it in after application. So far so good, it looks like it’s destroying that ant hill.

But I put one tablespoon of the Ortho on the four mounds around my house and 12 hours later I didn't see a single ant and 48 hours later I moved over them and the colonies were all completely wiped out.
