It’s amazing how your skill can fade when you don’t game for a long time. I used to crush it on old cod games and the last game I probably played with any reasonable hours was black ops 3. Haven’t touched a game since then. But recently I had to move in to take care of my grandma with dementia, so I find some extra time to game now and I’m absolutely trash now. Obviously apex is more difficult fps than any game I’ve played before. Appreciate all the tips and content you put out!

Great video! I used to be a top Halo 2 player back in the day. Was pretty much really good at all FPS games. I think your tips can really elevate my game. Seems like a good trick is alot of side movement and keeping the enemy centered. I've been making the mistake of chasing my bullets. Now if only I can find teammates who actually want to work as a team and not just run and gun all the time lol

I’m always trying to get better and have played apex since the start but the only thing that has been holding me back for the last few seasons has been my internet. It’s just so frustrating and disheartening when you know you could perform better but just cant. Hoping that moving houses fixes this issue because I’ve gone through multiple internet providers and know that it’s just this house that’s the problem.

I keep vibration on to tell when i get a good slide or not, when you get a dead slide your controller doesnt vibrate

X with shield boosts your aim assist the most plus stacking and stuff effects your aim also damage numbers both gives you the most AA

Nah not really, unless you're used to using paddles on the controller. and if you we're gonna get a controller w/ paddles I recommend the xbox elite that I pinned in the product section. It's all I ever use these days.

I appreciate most of these tips - I try to put them to practice as best as I can. However, the one tip about not panicking or saying you're the worst player ever... could you tell my teammates that? Because that's all they seem to do nowadays...

The phsicological thing really hitting me tho I got level 409 3.45k games and only 106 while my friend is level 300 and had 93 wins with 2.46k games . Basically I feel like I'm horrible at the game now

5-3 linear small deadzone if you have drift no arguement

I keep switching bk and forth between 4-3 and 5-3 small deadzone. After playing no deadzone, 4 feels to slow but 5 to fast.

Great video, but V-Sync on? I know you didn’t really cover it, but should definitely be turned off. You can also use a command to uncap frames to prevent screen tearing if that is an issue for you.

Why no 4/3 linear like 95% of the playerbase in comp and not comp?

Honestly, crosshair dmg feedback should be off. That X popping up in the center of your screen will obscure your vision in mid-range fights Also crouch should be on hold as it needs to be in order to bunny hop which is a super useful movement tech as it allows you to get shot and still keep on moving. Your momentum doesn't stop when you get hit while bunny hopping whereas it does stop if you get hit while running. Plus the other thing is with hold to crouch you can do a type of walljump that's possible to do from a standing still position with no previous momentum and with no need for jump fatigue. It's called the quick crouch walljump and it's only possible with hold to crouch because you need to be able to jump from a crouched position. With toggle to crouch if you press jump while crouched it just makes you stand up. With hold to crouch you can hold crouch and jump and you will jump while maintaining the crouched state Basically the type of walljump I'm talking about is the fastest one to execute and can be done from a standing still position meaning you can be at any distance from a wall and do it (except for obviously being too far from the wall). Plus it's the most unpredictable as when you see someone doing it you just see them crouched near a wall then all of a sudden they're flying off of the wall.
