FSR is awesome. I just got the free trial a week ago and now I'm going to have to purchase it. Can't play without it now.

One more thing with sky4sim, which is worth the premium imho; let's say you plan a flight in littlenavmap, then save it. Load up msfs and just select your start position and don't use the built in planner. Then configure sky4sim to load flightplans from that folder, and then (the awesome part) you can push that plan into the sim. No more fiddling with buttons and knobs on the gns530,750 or G1000. It is so awesome 😎👍

Thanks! Excellent and informative Show! I have been absent from my Flight Simulator for nearly 3 years. With the world being so fragile, the supply of new and quality hardware and computer equipment ridiculously priced. Patiently sitting on the bench during this time I have watched an Evolution of Computer Parts and Software (MSFS, PMDG) become more stable thus more user friendly. I’ve also been “War-Chesting” funds to purchase the best of the best when it’s time to get back into the game. I have been watching Professional, You Tube channels such as yours and learning from the professionals. I find you and your Tube Channel to be informative and entertaining while learning at the same time. I believe I can crack the war-chest here in November and start the new era of Flight Simulations. I’m fortunate I’m retired, own my own home and have build a “Blue-Collar” Boeing 737 - using Arduino and Leo Bodnar interface board to help build the immersion. Once setup, I look forward to “Paying It Forward” by becoming one of your companies “Patreon’s”. Keep up the excellent work! Be Safe! Cheers! 🍻🇨🇦

I think Im the odd man out, because I dont really like all of the sim cockpit hardware. Of course I need a flight stick, a throttle, and the ability to change camera views, but thats really it. I have a few more buttons that make raising landing gear easier on takeoff, for example, but I prefer most things controlled within the virtual cockpit. If I set up a simulator cockpit, then I stuck in THAT specific cockpit. It seems easy for people to get carried away buying the “next” piece, which really never ends.

Hey great video, simbrief (free version has a gazillion features already) is my planning tool, though I use OpenNavMap, too sometimes. Furthermore I would add JDs-checklist-tool to the ring (you could see it as tool or mod - who knows that hehe). JD developed a tool which automatically loads the checklist for nearly all planes in your simulator; btw he is a great guy and contributor, too - plus the checklists are short and good at the same time. regarding DCS: I have the feeling that the community is exceptionally small. Like those Falcon 4.0 life supporters. What is your opinion? Imho the little number is the reason why everything is quite expensive and you can not fight over the world? The simulator itself is free, models cost money - all okay, third party devs and the studio itself need to earn money, what is alright :) - though for a map and a little one? Not a virtual one, just a part of the earth like middle east or whatever? Come on, paying for a map which publishers could “create” (more copy & paste) open source/public property data of the earth free of charge (openstreetmap even with high detail) seems “OverKill”. What is your position regarding this? I am hesitating. In DCS (I haven’t bought anything so far) I understand why many users feel reduced to a “whale”, which it seems so many DCS Users are … well others were it in P3D, people and their hobby; hehe. I hope you could show on this channel besides guides - as you are Mr. Guide :) - show especially mods and test them. May be I’ll take a relook to DCS again. though I am missing strategic bombers, very very much (yeah they are usually still classified, but isn’t that most of the Hornet, too) hehe. Cheers and keep up your great work, Pepe
