My only question is around the SmrtLeads app - I have SmrtPhone, I have the SmrtDialer but I don't see these apps in my Podio. Do I need to build them from scratch? Or are they supposed to pop up similar to how the Communications app popped up?

Hey bro you're very kind for putting this together etc so I thought to myself I'd like to help you back. And this might sound like I'm a hater but I'm genuinely trying to help you simplify your process - Why do you need Podio, Dialer, and others? Too many processes in my personal opinion. I say that because why not just go through something like CallTools where you have your campaign entries, dialer needs, filtering needs like filtering out DNC/FDNC's, having all your reporting needs, automations and webhooks/html posts etc so you really don't need to go through so many sources. Plus you get up to 10 numbers at once Only thing I think is interesting is your "recording call back" feature which I don't think CallTools does that. I can use CallTools as a CRM as well so everything can be managed through one resource.

Kyle, Thanks for the Great video it answers many questions. Quick questions…using smrtDialer… Why use the seller script and webform? Why not just add the seller into the seller lead app? The forms seem basically the same and It seems redundant to have seemingly similar ‘forms’ to do the same thing. I might be missing something though?? Can you explain the reasons for using each of the seller script, webform, and seller lead? If someone has never used a phone dialer what do they need to know? Thanks for all the time and effort you put into these videos. They are adding a ton of value.

After putting in all this time for automation and organization I feel I'm really close and want to make sure I'm keeping it all organized and not creating a convoluted mess. So when do you use the smrtleads vs. seller lead? Where do you follow up? Do we convert the smrtlead into seller lead? Or are there going to be multiple (duplicate) leads? Does that make sense? Also, It would be great to see the whole process from start to finish...like >create list, >skip trace, > upload to smrtphone, >cold calling, >putting in the lead, >follow up, >setting apt, >contract, >close. --did I miss anything? I’ve never tried batch dialer but might try it here soon. I like MOJO too. Before committing to yearly purchases (to take advantage of discounts), pay for the monthly and try it out. I’ll likely do a video on BatchDialer in the coming couple months and revamp these videos as well. 👊🏻

Skip that part. Skip the campaign app and relationship field. I seem to have confused everyone putting that in. You don’t need it. I’ve since actually taken it out of my own setup just because it’s not necessary. I track my campaigns now by naming convention. Just use the campaign category field and you’re good. 👍🏻

I know. Confusing. Think of it like this: smrtPhone = CallRail alternative smrtDialer = MOJO alternative You can’t autodial with smrtPhone and I wouldn’t advise doing followups with smrtDialer.

I’m not technically either. Since making this video everything can be done from the browser and you can upload an excel file directly into smrtDialer from the web when you go to set up a campaign.

Love your videos ! Just struggling with contacting a lead once it comes in ( not phone call or text) say our website lead form and I’m on the road or not near a computer. From what I’m seeing you’d have to open the podio app, copy the number bring into smart phone app and paste. Open back up podio app to see the notes. Wish there was a way to make the call from the podio app itself

You’re right. You’d have to have a contact made in Podio for smrtPhone to see it. You can search by contact name in the smrtPhone app. Easier than copying and pasting the number. But there isn’t a way to call out. The reason you can click to call on the computer through Podio is because of that chrome extension.

Wish the smart phone app showed my seller leads or better integrated, it’s so close lol. Right now when I get a lead it sends a text to my phone and I can click the link to make a call or text.

Hi Kyle, I just viewed your 5 series videos and I now have Podio, smrtPhone, and smrtDialer all set up. I'm ready to upload my lists to the dialer. However, I'm not seeing smrtLeads or Cold Call apps in Podio. I reached out to smrtPhone/Dialer and they said "We don't offer these Podio apps anymore, we strongly recommend to our clients to create their apps the way they desire". What do I do now?? 😞

They made it even better now You can just upload your excel list straight into smrtDialer. 👍🏻 All the communications are still logged in the communications app. No worries about the cold caller script app. I stopped using that almost immediately. It wasn’t very good.

Let me ask you this...in Podio, when I create a new contact, its auto-generates a new seller lead (based on the workflow you showed us how to setup). In smrtDialer, when I finish a call, should it trigger the creation of a new Seller Lead in Podio or a new Contact in Podio, and under what scenario/disposition?

No action you take in smrtDialer will trigger your Podio with this setup Once you generate a lead you’d need to manually create that contact (which would create the seller lead) I’m a perfect world we would just click a button right? You could probably pay a Podio developer to make that for you. But leads aren’t generated thaaaaaaaat often. So I didn’t find it worth the money to get created.

They’ve made it better. Now when you go to create a campaign you can just upload an excel file directly into the smrtPhone browser.

Your campaigns would be stored on the browser. If you’re using my Podio setup you’d manually create the new lead in your Podio setup for followup. Think about it as two separate processes. Lead generation with smrtDialer, and lead followup with smrtPhonr. Two different processes with different phone numbers.

Cold calling generates a lead about once every two hours. It’s not hard for me to take 4 minutes to input that into Podio. I get it though, trade offs are in every system. Gotta pick what’s right for you. Good luck. 🤝

As you mentioned you have two fields of "Campaign"s one looks like a category which we modify and add to match what our file is called. My questions is the second campaign looks like a relationship?? How is that set up? (multi reference? etc) In the vid at 6:25 or so is appears there is something already in the campaign "relationships" field (looks like clarksville high equity in your case) Does this automatically fill in when the file is uploaded? @@realestatekyle Kyle, I am having an issue with this too. I have one category Campaign in SmrtLeads and another campaign relationship. But for some reason, I think you have yours hooked up the right way and yes, in fact, I do think we need it. The reason being is that I uploaded one campaign on smrtdialer successfully. But when I got to upload another campaign in the Smrtdialer when I go to sync my contacts at this point it is uploading all my contact in smrtleads. I am sure this will be a problem when I have more than one campaign. I am trying to understand when you did the KZbin demo campaign how did you upload only ten in smrtdialer instead of all your smrtleads in general. I seem to have a problem syncing my leads only for that specific campaign. Please if you can help i would appreciate it.

Another reason that the second campaign has to be a relationship is that when I go to import the excel document. If I leave it with no app relationship the second campaign field does not pop up at all. If you look at your video. The second campaign relationship pops up in order to include the second campaign green button. If I leave it with no relationship it doesn't pop up. I been here for hours. Its not working.

Kyle, I have a question on Call Depth. For example, if the contact has 3 numbers, does the system dial all three before going to the next row or does the system just go down the row in order?

Hey Kyle I have one more question hope you can get back to me as quick as you just did haha....so I skiptraced my list from propstream and I used the mailing address for more accurate results but when I am calling the list on smrtdialer will it still show me the original address so that I can quickly find it on propstream or show me the "mailing address" ...because I noticed some address said PO box or say a different zip code, I hope that makes sense

Make sure when you upload your list for smrtDialer and map your fields you map the property address and not the mailing address.

I stopped using that feature because I found it clunky. I manually add new leads to the Contacts form and Seller Leads form.

More data the better but I completely get it. I use the file they sent me that has everything in it. smrtDialer allows you to map the fields so don’t worry there’s a lot of data. You’ll need to map the name, address, and the phone numbers for each record when uploading to smrtDialer.

You have to have smrtPhone to use smrtDialer. I used to use CallRail and switched from that to smrtPhone. One of the better decisions I’ve made. Efficiency is way better and doing followups is less stressful. I used to lose messages in CallRail. Hated it.

When you restart your campaign on smart phone how do you prevent it from calling people you have already talk to you?

When you go to restart the campaign on the right hand side you can select the ones you said were uninterested or converted. Those you add to DNC are automatically skipped.

Mine does the same thing. Create a view that splits by campaign status so you can filter around. Don’t get too tripped up on the campaign app portion. I sort of wish I left that part out because it seems to be confusing people. If it’s causing you to slow down, skip the whole campaign app portion, so you’ll only have one campaign column in your data. Just have that category field in the smrtLeads app and you’ll be good to set up and call.

Question 1: It seems based on the way you have laid out these videos that smrtLeads acts almost independent of contacts and seller leads. Meaning I would need to upload a list/CSV to contacts (which I found i can make a Contact Type/Seller tab in my CSV to make it go to seller leads) and also upload a CSV of the same contacts to smrtLeads in order to have the data in the whole system. Do you have a way you do it that doesn't cost twice the time? Question 2: Tailing off of the last question - When you're calling, where do you input the information you are taking down? Webform, seller leads, smrtLeads? It seems like if I input info into seller leads, it won't auto populate in smrtLeads and vice-versa. I am just looking to not duplicate efforts. Question 3: smrtDialer - When calling four numbers at a time - will I have to see who picks up and then hurry to find their respective information on Podio? I am calling to Apt owners and would like to be better oriented before making the call. It may just be better to stick with one call at a time so I know who I am talking to and for what. I know thats a lot, but I really appreciate your making of these videos.

Question 1: The only thing you upload into contact/seller leads are LEADS. A csv of a list you got skip-traced does not go there. Question 2: I take down notes in the contacts "Notes" section and when the call is over I fill out the rest of the contact and then the seller lead. Question 3: When someone answers their information pops up on the screen so you know the address you're calling on and their name. When you're cold calling you're lucky to generate about a lead every 1 to 2 hours. You can create automation in Podio to reduce some of the duplicated actions, but leads aren't generated frequently enough for me to worry about the 1 extra minute it takes to fill out the lead form. If I put the wrong number or terminate the call it just moves onto the next contact without trying the other numbers. I have set up globiflow for that, but just trying to figure out how to put it all together if I have a hot lead or follow-up come through on smrtDialer.

Hey boss, when you're doing a multi-dialer and calling a couple of people at once and one calls you back to your smrtPhone (not knowing if it's them or not) do you stop what your doing and pick up or just let go to voicemail? Since the dialer moves I usually no idea if I pick what address they were associated with if it's the right person.

Oh a TOTAL list of 200 is nothing. As far as I know there is not a limit. I haven’t encountered it. I have one campaign that’s about 9400 records with no problem. In that list (because each record has more than one phone number) has like 15000 phone numbers.

Hey Kyle I'm having an issue with the ios app far as incoming calls, it hasn’t showed contacts name for incoming calls on the mobile app since I first signed up with smrtPhone. Do you have the same issue on the mobile app? Can you give me a hand with this? I dont want to mess around with anything in globiflow and mess up everything.

@@realestatekyle hey I actually just got an response from the smrtPhone team and they’re working on the updates with developers. I still don’t understand how it was working accurately in the beginning of my subscription then out of no where it stopped. Man it’s very awkward when you don’t know who’s calling the mobile app while on the road. But I appreciate you bro hopefully the smrtPhone team updates the system soon.

Hey Kyle, Whenever I upload my list to SmrtLeads, for some reason I am getting one campaign per lead in the Campaigns app. So, if I have 100 records in Smrtleads, I also have 100 records when I go to the Campaigns app. What setting am I missing?

Mine does the same thing to get around it, create a view and split it out by campaign type.

Nope! It’s great as just a phone platform as well. Much better than something like CallRail.

@@guylevy3048 yea I do both through smrtPhone. Well, I have smrtPhone integrated into my Podio setup so I do everything through Podio but it routes through smrtPhone. You can definitely just use it on its own and not through Podio.

I haven’t figured that out yet. I believe the auto dialer companies will have to adapt and create a phone number rotation system. Basically the phone carriers are seeing the phone number activity and flagging it. So these companies will have to create a system so that the numbers can rest. Mine get flagged too but I’m not letting that deter me.

I don’t have one. I buy a new number every month, but it gets flagged shortly after. Otherwise you’d need to buy a new number every hour. That $$$ would add up and be a nightmare to do all the time. So until these companies adapt to the new rules, I’ll just keep going. Still generating leads though so I’m not too concerned.

Could be anything. An extra space. Capital letter. You have to set it up exact. It’s always something small. That’s not enough information for me to help out.
