Great points on filling the backpack. And, while I don't normally believe in coincidences, my Backlight 36L (lightly used) arrived yesterday :-) I wanted to upgrade since I got a very large lens for my Olympus system. Thanks!

Thanks. Very helpful video for travel and packing. I have a Backlight 26L and an Elite 45L and they have been great backpacks for hiking with my photo gear. More recently I bought the Airport Accelerator backpack for travel as it is a little deeper so it can hold my Sony 400mm f2.8 attached to the body and with the lens hood reversed as well as my Sony 200-600mm attached to another body side by side and is designed to go in the overhead bin. I haven't used it yet on a plane but it's also handy for road trips and you might like it.

Great tips. I have had many backpacks for backpacking and trekking and I tried out both the MindShift and the Shimoda. I went with the Shimoda Explorer V2 because it felt more comfortable. But I agree, backpacks are the way to go.

Nah, that was just a bubble from the plastic screen cover. Was wondering the same thing until I looked closer.

Thanks for this. How deep is the camera/lens section for standing lens up? Such as the Canon 15-35L for example? Also, how wide is the camera lens section for storing lenses on end side by side across the pack? I have a number of beefy Canon RF lenses (15/35L, 24/70L, 40-200 2.8, 50 1.2, 85 1.2) and I am having trouble finding a bag that will fit three of these lenses place upright and across the bag.
