The unibody rapala floating Diving jerk bait too. Way back when I was a kid of 15 or so I used one to catch 10 bass over 5 pounds one summer bank fishing on local ponds.

Brandin G Channel recommended you in his latest vid from the AA (Oct 2024). Very Good vid Juan. I liked & subscribed. Your Lure recommendations are great. I use many of them and learned about some new ones. I've been Angling here in IV for decades and use many of the same set-ups. Noticed you didn't talk about Crank Baits . I have success with them, after switching from the Top-Waters, working various depth seekers from 1 ft to 4 ft, then working down the list that you showed working the decending water columns.

I love all your suggestions. I’m not a major fan of the magdraft but I love a chatterbait. It has to be my number one confidence moving bait. Great video

Thanks for the comment! The chatterbait is my favorite bait to throw all year. Stay tuned for my next video where I focus on the bladed jig. Tight lines.

I work my whopper plopper like a popper depending on the bite I’ve had days they constantly blow up on my WP and some days they like the steady retrieve 10-15 sec stop sit 5-10 seconds and hit it with a couple pops had some massive blow ups

Very nice job of explaining the baits and how to fish them. Subscribed and looking forward to more of your videos. One of my favorite baits for bank fishing, especially in the fall, is a fluke or soft jerk bait. Works great here in the Midwest.

Awesome, thank you! Flukes are awesome as well! Tight lines my friend!

The megabass magdraft bonus bait you presented has a lot of negative reviews, mostly about durability issues like the magnet falls out and and it is too weak to hold the hook. However the Megabass magdraft freestyle is much better, you rig it with a Owner Beast weighted swimbait hook or something similar and it can be fished in the weeds or open water and it is much more durable. I enjoyed your video and just wanted to mention that because you said you hadn't tried it out yet. Good fishing to you, sir.

I have tried several different whopper plopper's I have never even had a bite let alone caught a fish with it

For me, top water will hit first thing in the morning, right as the sun starts rising and last only about an hour or two.

I love a whopper bloper bit I can slow retrieve a square bill and achive the same result

I don't see how slow retrieving a square bill could replicate a Whopper Plopper. Slow retrieving a square bill would be a wake bait like action.

Try a mega bass, 6 inch swim bait freestyle on a chatter bait head without the skirt… Catches big bass

I think the stickbait shimmy imitates a baitfish on it's side floating to the bottom as it's dying. Imagine looking at it as if you were looking at a fish falling sideways and flopping in their death throes

Ha, never thought of it that way!

I used robo worms on my local lake. Those basses crushed it every time. I'll go through 6 or 7 worms if the day is good.
