​@@Marc-w1f5x Strange. I don't have that problem at all. I use Charlotte C6 with Hu Tao, Xingqiu, and Furina, and the team absolutely slaps. (I have XQ at C6 also.) My Charlotte, admittedly, is pretty cracked, with 214 ER and a 29% crit rate to trigger her Fav Codex. The trick to using Charlotte effectively is to use her hold skill at the beginning of a fight and then again just after you hit your burst. Because XQ is in the team, enemies are often frozen during Charlotte's burst, which gives you time to dash backward and prepare her hold skill. As long as the hold skill lands on multiple enemies, Charlotte shouldn't have any trouble bursting on cooldown. Properly built, she generates quite a lot of particles even as a solo cryo. (To assure that you can burst off of cooldown, make sure that it's Charlotte picking up her particles before advancing the rotation.) The rotation on this team is: Charlotte hold skill, Furina skill, Furina burst, XQ skill (x2 with Sac sword if needed), XQ burst, Hu Tao skill, Hu Tao NA chain/CAs, Hu Tao burst, Charlotte burst. Dash backward with Charlotte and repeat.

Nahida here has been undervalued a little, imo. Her value in the accounts of new players is insane. Just because we have new characters that reach new damage ceilings doesn't automatically make Nahida a worse pull than them. What's so great about Hyperbloom is how little you need to invest in it and how absurdly easy it is to play. Those two points are literally perfect for F2P and new players, so it should still solidify Nahida as a T0 character because her value never really diminished. Its damage floor is high in exchange for having no real way to increase its damage ceiling apart from Alhaitham and Nahida's C2, and because new damage dealers now don't use Xingqiu as much anymore, using him in one half for Hyperbloom isn't as punishing as it used to be. TL;DR: For new and F2P players who don't have Nahida, this banner is your best chance to get a solid team with little to no skill check.

If you're a new and/or less than 1 year old player, I strongly recommend to NOT pull for Hu Tao. Unless you really really like her AND her playstyle at C0 (ie, jump-canceling 24/7), she'll be a regret-pull for you. For exploration, she's terrible at C0 (constant lack of stamina to fight overworld enemies), and to reach the DPS ceiling comparable from the current best teams, she requires A LOT of investment (Xinyan for plunge, Furina, Yelan and Homa). The best strategy is to save for Natlan characters, the powercreep is happening in 5.0+ and a lot of people didn't realize yet.

I sort of agree with this but my Hu Tao C0 no Staff of Homa slaps anything in front of her without a problem. Jump cancel and things can be learned and overcome. It's the lack of supports that'll make her feel bad she needs very specific friends if you want a good experience at least that's how it's been for me.

I agree with this but mostly because of the clunk of jump cancels at c0, especially in overworld. You really gotta be willing to commit to getting those down for her to be good. I don't really agree on powercreep, if anything I think Fontaine DPS were a bigger step up compared to what came before and the ones we have from Natlan so far don't seem to be significantly better. Like none of them so far are even at the level of Neuvillette. I think Jello overrates Mualani for anyone who isn't a speedrunner.

It's like what Furina did for Neuvillette, the dmg difference between Neuv pre and pos Furina is quite huge.

If you don't use a "premium team" (Xinyan, Yelan, Furina), and use a 2022 team (Zhongli, Yelan, XQ), your damage ceiling is about the same than a hyperbloom team. But hyperbloom team is 50x easier to farm for artifacts and build (just lv 90 your Kuki/Raiden and throw EM artifacts). Hyperbloom / Hutao double hydro can still clear the abyss 12? Sure... but compared to the current best teams, they're way behind in the DPS ceiling.

I feel like nahida is still pretty meta. Most abysses lately have had a lot of success from hyperbloom teams…especially Alhaitham hyperbloom. I feel like the only time it’s ever really countered is when you have those Dendro res enemies but even those enemies aren’t really a threat to hyperbloom variants with electro drivers like Cyno or even just Aggravate. Yeah she hasn’t received much support but does she really need it? She was already an insane character and idk if she’s a character that requires more than she already had.

I have c0 nahida and play her onfield as a dps (😭😭) she is really capable of 36 starring the abyss and I’ve done it with her every abyss without fail and she improves so many teams and obviously performs best with another dps like alhaitham. I think Nahida's specialty now is she can produce an easy to build second team stack a bunch of EM on a driver and go for it. Many of the new DPS characters take time and investment and specific stats that aren't always easy cause you know RNG. I have much stronger choices but will always put my quick-bloom team on one side it's a strong and comfort team for me. As for grind and RNG my Neuvillette is for sure the stronger choice but couple months of grinding still don't have the HP CR/CD spread to make him broken

Sethos is actually really fun. Play in Quicken Aggravate team. Use Slingshot 3-star weapon. I play him with Beidou for the AoE, Shield, and extra Electro application while normal attacking, Nahida and Anemo character for the VV shred. If the opponent is quite tanky, you use his burst and spam normal attack. If the opponent almost dead, just use the Changed Attack to finish them off.

Nahida's Value for F2P players cannot be understated. I mean, after looking at people's spreadsheets, I've been using the 3-star Magic Guide on her. It was an *easy* R5. Passive works off-field. If you miss Floating dreams, it's okay, you already have a good weapon for her.

So you can make that same argument for Hu Tao's best teams not needing Bennett, despite that she can work with him if you wanted to so it still isn't a plus that Arlecchino can't use Furina. At least if Hu Tao takes my Furina and Yelan I still have Xingqiu, there's so many teams I just straight up can't play while Arlecchino has Bennett. I can still do hyperbloom, electrocharged, nilou bloom, pretty much anything requiring hydro but when bennett is gone there goes international, majority of hyper carry teams, wanderer, navia, mono pyro or lyney, burning, chevreuse, this is much more crippling. The only other place I would normally use furina is with Neuvillette and he can handle himself just fine without her.

Hyperbloom is still broken. It's still the easiest, cheapest and fastest way to 36* the Abyss. And Nahida is still broken and outside Arle, Mualani, Kinich/Emilie, geo and anemo will buff your characters if you decide to use them in a dendro related reaction.

I think that Archons hyperbloom + flex (mine is Raiden C2 + Nahida C0 + Furina C2 + Bahizu C0) is still the most comfy, generalist and powerful team available in the game. So easy to play, amazing mechanic synergy, good with any kind of elemental shield and powerful damage output tradeoff. The only real problem is the cost of having these characters.

Nahida is a must pull if you dont have her. I love Hu Tao, have her C1R1 since her first run and she’s carried me through abyss for years. She is still top tier, but Arlechinno is probably a better option for low spend or f2p players. And Mavuika is coming up. If you don’t have Nahida, she is definitely the way to go on this banner. Just saying. I have her C2 rocking a R5 Widsith and she will upgrade your entire account. Easy decision.

Jello you should try this niche hu tao team no one talks about, but that i think is strong and fun! Hu Tao / Mona / Layla / Yelan! All the supports can use Fav if needed, and if NOT needed they can start getting rowdy with TTDS, Key, Freedom sworn, elegy etc! Mona can go Instructor or Noblesse and just needs big ER , Layla shields and buffs with tenacity and she can freeze any enemies hu tao isnt currently deleting to extend omen buffs! The condition is that there's no reason to use this lineup if enemies arent freezable. Current abyss side 1 is mwah, chef's kiss.

I think this video's advices are bad . Saying dendro has fallen off is false. To get a meta lvl team nowadays you need 4 five stars or extremely high investment. Arlechinno ? Sure , but she needs a very specific set , is tied to Bennet or Chevreuse, and is very punishing to play. Neuvillette? Ok easier to build but if you really want to reach his full potential you need furina , Xilonen and Kazuha. Meanwhile, dendro hyperbooom does 80% of those teams damage and requires one five stars and em stats , it's not comparable. I would even go further and add that dendro is so broken that hoyo had to release characters with extremely high numbers and new broken artifacts to keep up. Keep in mind that dendro has no buffer and hasn't received any new artifacts since sumeru's beginning and is still considered the most efficient team to make to get one side of floor 12 cleared . So yes nahida is a "must pull" for beginners who really want to get their account going. Love you and your videos Jello but I simply don't agree here lmao

When I got Nahida and tried building hyperbloom, its insane how only a week of farming artifacts, it was able to match my ayaka team with kazuha's performance. Hyperbloom has a crazy damage floor with barely any investment

Was quite surprised when I saw the banners. Finally a really good banner again. Definetely going to pull for Nahida C2 (right now I'm at 50 pity with over 110 fates after skipping 4.8 phase 2, 5.0 phase 1, doing 5 10 - pulls on the Kinich banner in order to get C6 Chevreuse (and maybe Kinich, but I didn't get him) then saving again) and hope to get C2 Kuki (right now, mine is at C1) and C0 Sethos (just want him for my collection) along the way.

I like Jello because he actually does testing. But I feel he has a really bad amount recency bias. NO one is too overpowered (except maybe Neuvillete) But the way he says Xilonen Furina Chlorinde Arlecchino etc. are too good and Powercreep is just not true. Account value and Characters are HUGELY variant. And Nahida is 1000% still a Tier 0 character. Abyss is NEVER the meta as it changes always.

If we’re talking single target, Hu Tao is still the best dps in the game. If we’re not, she’s still top tier, only just below Neuv, Arle, Alhaitham and MAYBE Mualani. And if you have Cloud Retainer, you don’t have to worry about her C1 whatsoever (But she’s still one of the best dps without c1). Also, if Nahida isn’t a must pull, then NO ONE is a must pull. She’s still a game changingly strong character. Just because Arlecchino and Kinich’s BiS teams don’t include her doesn’t suddenly mean she isn’t still incredibly strong and versatile, and very much still “meta”.

As a top 1% C1 Hu Tao owner that knows how to play her, I absolutely agree with Jello's take that Hu Tao has been powercrept, and I definitely disagree with the idea that Hu Tao is the best single target damage dealer. Hu Tao's still a great damage dealer of course, but Arlecchino is clearly a shade better in terms of pyro DPS. Neuvillette outclasses both. By constantly trying to prop up Hu Tao as "the best", all it does is hurt newer players that are on the fence about deciding what to pull.

It's so annoying when the banners you want/need to pull on are trash but the banners you can't really afford to pull on for luxury (Nahida cons would be cool but I'm F2P and still in need of a few account staples like Zhongli) are super sick. I don't have C2 Kuki, and I want C2 Kuki, but I'm not sure I can risk a few cheeky pulls on this, considering I'd like to get Chasca and Ororon but I'm not sure I can do more than try a 50/50 on her.

I pulled for Hu Tao on her release and I hope I can finally have her C1... I notice how Arlechino is just stronger and easier to use than her, but still, I think she's a very fun character to play and she's not benched in my account anyways, I use her frequently. Also, I play Nahida, Niluo, Kokomi, Kollei/Kiara frequently, and it's my team of comfort for the most part, It just obliterates groups if they don't have shields and all of that.

if i were a new player, and this banner shows up. It would be a god-send (pun not intended). Hyperbloom only gets out DPS by other team architypes very late into the game, where you have over 200cv on artifacts, good weapons, ideal supports (like c6 faruzan) etc. My crowned kinich not in his sig set and weapon, without emilie or furina deals so much less DPS than my hyperbloom kuki who has minimal level talents and just stacked EM (fundamentally zero cv artifacts). it's actually a bit sad and funny at the same time.

​​@@libra2054 if you get nahida xingqui and kuki, they are a great team. You can add Barbara into that team for some extra hydro and heals (if your xingqui doesn't have enough energy recharge), or just keep your dendro main character there. You can also use Karya in the 4th slot, which will allow you to freeze your enemies and attack them with hyperbloom at the same time. For kaeya cherry on the top is that he can self heal a bit using his skills, and he can also get good heals from kuki and xingqui combo, and his base defence is quite high, so you can easily use him as your on-field character as well. Since all 4 (kaeya, kuki, xingqui, nahida) have great off field elemental application, you'll get to trigger freeze, superconduct , hyperbloom, etc. So you can even have your kaeya on a physical on-field dps build.

Hyperbllom would gain a massive boost in stocks if mihoyo decided to release a 5 star electro Kuki who specifically works in the Hyperbloom nieche. Maybe increas the damage of hyperbloom or ability to increas max hyperbloom cores.

You can't simulate c0 Hu tao with c1 Hu tao by only skipping the jump cancels. C1 can be a dps increase for other factors. With c0 Hu tao you can only get back 200/240 stamina on your 2nd rotation and onward because the cooldown is faster than you can recover stamina so shorter tighter rotations will result in extra 1-2 charge attacks from c1
