Man Those are some nice shoes. I wish that I could fit into shoes sometimes. I have always hated shoes & socks because they are just not wide enough for my extremely wide feet 🦶 i have & they would crush & hurt my toes because my toes are very fat & chubby & Evenly straight across. Shoes are made for toes that are at a 45° Degrees angle & not for toes that are Evenly straight across like mine are. I wish they would make a shoes that thd toes box area was in a box Shape for toes like i have. I don't have anybody around me that can make Custom made shoes for me. But i love being barefooted 👣 because I was raised up wearing flip flops 🩴 or being barefooted 👣 because of my Extremely very wide feet 🦶 with very chubby fat wide toes that are Evenly straight across i have. Good video man. Thanks you for sharing this video.

If you want shoes with an extra wide toe box, check out these brands: BeLenka, Realfoot, and Softstar (specifically their “primal” line). All are super extra wide and good for square type feet. Also look up “AnyasReviews” square feet and you’ll see her recommendations for extra wide feet.

Looks are extremely important for this kind of shoe since they're also suitable for offices etc. That's why the Splays miss the mark for me. The huge toebox is great, but it looks weird which defeats the purpose of a smart looking shoe. Feelgrounds has found the ultimate balance between width and smart looks. Most people don't even notice they're barefoot, while they're still super comfortable. That said, I love cotton canvas. I wish Feelgrounds would go away from their obsession with plastic. Plastic leather, plastic canvas. I get that they wanna keep them vegan, but there are amazing natural alternatives.

It should also be mentioned that the Splays are about 40-50% cheaper! They go for around $75 a pop as opposed to $125-135! I bought one of each tho so let's see how I feel about them once I have them in my hands!

@@StoutShako we talk about the price difference around the 8 minute mark, definitely an advantage for Splay!

One thing that's hardly ever mentioned in reviews is shoe size range. Probably because it wouldn't be reviewed if it wasn't available in the reviewers size. I wear a 13.5 and often have to get a 14 since most companies don't have half sizes after size 12. Feelgrounds goes up to a 15 mens, while Splay only goes to a 13. That means that for me, Splay can't be considered. It sucks watching a review and getting excited for a shoe only to find that they don't make it in your size.

That really sucks! Sorry that's the case for you. Hopefully one day they'll change for the better!
