awesome. out of all the headsets in this video it was Sony's headset that got my attention. the only problem IMO is the price tag. damn are they expensive. but for the price they better be worth it. i would pay it if they are worth it. i love bass.....i'm a bass head lol. where i love 7.1 surround sound quality i love a headset with great bass, and comfortness.

The crusher uses haptic bass, or "fake bass." This isn't actually bass, it is a haptic driver that the vibrates, giving the illusion of bass. The headphones covered in the video have actual bass produced from the speakers themselves. Hope this helped!

I recommend the Audiotechnica M50x headphones with a fiio portable amp. I use the fiio a5 portable amp their cheapers fiio amps if you don't want the fiio a5(125$) amp. But just make sure it has enough juice to make the m50x sound amazing loud detailed and warm. M50x shine good with the fiio amps, bands like FAITH NO MORE and any bass heavy bands like RCHP, Primus sound amazing!!! The bass is so loud and full and detailed(3D sounding) warm. Most of the headphone he listed aren't good. Wireless takes away the audio quality of everything almost. The m50x are 150$ I think or less plus the fiio amp 125$ or less depending if you get a cheaper fiio amp your looking at 275 to 230 for a true computer audiophile experience:) also this headphone beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO I heard is better or just equally good as m50x but is more bass focused for the same price of 150$ or 180 depending on which one you get.

Btw m50x and beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO are professional studio headphone so their designed for detail audio, but without a proper portable amp they won't shine. M50x without a amp they sound decent(7-10) with amp they sound godly amazing out of this world good. (20 out of 10) lol btw amps are designed to make audio sound the best high resolution possible so you can hear more detail of the music(recordings) it makes everything lows, mids, highs sound amazing. :D

Well the problem is the heaphone lacks any real punchy bass and were not up to my standards and therefore they we left at the store. I was looking to have a second set of heaphones for the gym. My current headphones are the Bluant Pump Zone and they blow the Skullcandys out of the water.

I own the Sennheiser HD800s and beleive me they hardly have any bass at all. They are somewhat lacking in bass even. Dear lord this list was made by a 12 year old that has heard how great they are and assumes they must have good bass. Please don't buy HD800s for bass, It's the last thing they give you. They are open back headphones.

Although I own a sony MDR xb950b1, the whole model is just too fragile. Everything else is almost perfect, but the headphones being very fragile makes the it not worth the price.

Indeed. I had the previous model and while I adored the sound quality, the plastic frame broke about two years in. It was heartbreaking because soundwise they were everything I wanted, but I just can't repurchase them knowing that they could come apart on me. Plus they always sat too loose on my head, with the band slipping occasionally as I moved about.

Those are some serious professionals headphones high end onesm. Am looking for a bass headphones under 300 that's actually good. Most of theses headphones listed aren't good because the fact that they are wireless means they won't have good audio quality, most audio needs wires to assure the best possible high resolution high fidelity sound.. Also they can't use most amps/dacs with them either since their wireless.

i have them, it in theory isn't fake, but at lower notes the second driver doesn't play low enough so after like 30hz there is no bass :/

i would like to experience the sony extra bass headphones but i find them looking too big to be wearing out. i feel theres not enough on ear headphones out there. my friend is debating with me saying look dont worry about getting or spending so much money like 100 pounds on headphones when the source is shit. basically i listen to youtube music and yes some tracks can sound really shit. but hes telling me like spotify music is best and i know that. but hes now saying also if i downloaded an equalizer on my phone i could make the headphones sound better. but im telling him but theres difference between 50 pound headphones and 100 pound headphones, u can have eq flat as hell on both headphones and the more expensive ones will produce the shit sound better. so instead of focusing on cheap headphones and spotify and a third party eq. which is the way he thinks i should look at it. i have audio technica m40x at home that are great and the treble are nice and high, the mids are ok but i wouldnt say are loud or high its like mid. the bass is good but not punchy enough it sounds quite flat but its ok. i have akg ye45bt headset i love it when in bluetooth mode as its louder than in cable mode. treble highs are not that high or sharp crisp. the mids are very flat and the bass is good but needs to be better for my liking as ive got use to it now as my everyday headphones so im after a new on ear pair of headphones if anyone can give models i should check out. i want high highs high mids and nice real feeling bass, not ya skullcandy or dre beats bass, fuck that we know the story with u and ya fake bass ps2 vibrator.

I also have the Audio Technica ATH-MSR7, & those are good to & can handle bass, but I'm still looking for "subwoofer" quality bass. I heard the SkullCandy Crusher Wireless are insane with the bass. some people dont like the way it sounds so they have a negative opinion about them, but if it's lots of bass you want, I heard those are the ones to get. I may sell my Audio Technicas & my V-Moda's since I don't use them anymore since my Bose, & I'll get the skullcandy crushers for the days I want to rattle my brain lol
