for me I will just buy extra 8 baterry for reserved in case of emergency in the street if you empty a battery , just bought 16 baterry for sure performance in the street for maximum performance.

Checking my gear as I get ready to busk....The power problem gets stickier when you want to have a looper pedal and maybe a TC-Helicon voice enhancer/harmony pedal...maybe a portable power bank would work. There should be an easy way to power those without lugging a car battery around...

I have a sanyo power bank especially for pedals, powers 2 pedals and i get about 8 hours . Also my volts ripcord for usb to 9v adapter for normal usb power bank

I use them too but before wal mart was selling energizer rechargeable they were selling duracell back in 2005 or 6 and still work only thing is i only have 2 of them left because i didnt charge the other 2 duracell bats for a while and they didnt charge any more then i bought energizers which last me about 4 days since i only play a couple of hours at wal mart so. Yeah rechargeable s are the best.

The best batteries for literally anything AA are the 2500Mah rechargeables. There are several manufacturers but I’ve had the best luck with Panasonic eneloop rechargeables.

Ive been using rechargeable batteries for a long time i started with duracell and been using them well over 10 yrs but then had to switch to energizer cus the wal mart where i live stopped selling rechargeable duracell batteries. So yeah rechargeable batteries help alot.

For now Energizer are the best if you play for not more than 4 hours a day 👍🏼

Yeah, i agree. They are the best and do last about 4 to 5 hours on a full charge. I recently just purchased a portable power generator for my guitar pedal by zoom its a g3n not battery operated which bummed me out so. The generator is by flatfish. Before i came across that i was looking for a generator that was small and would last at least 3 or 4 hours minimum. I came across one by energizer i thought perfect hands down i would go for this but then read the specs and it states gives atleast 90% power of a full charge im like ok then i did more studying and found a video review by charles on the flatfish generator. If your looking for portable power generator check his video out.

I want to buy the street cube2…. It looks like it powers off a standard 9v 350 ma supply… I have a small but hugely powered rechargeable phone battery and a usb to 9v power cable that steps up usb from 5 to 9v. I’m pretty sure it will power the street 2 for days! Will test in real life

Don’t they simply charge while the Roland cube is plugged into the wall socket? Surely you don’t have to take the eight batteries out of the amp all the time to charge in some external charger…. Someone confirm this.

The batteries are not Roland related, so I don't think they charge via the amp plugged in..

Hi enjoying your videos. The problem I had with any battery in the Roland Cube Street EX is, I use backing tracks and when you turn it up and there is some bass or heavy drums it compresses the sound so you get this really irritating pumping sound as it can't cope with the bass. If you run it on the mains transformer this doesn't happen. I can only think the batteries don't have enough power to cope with additional bass. If you just play guitar and sing this may not be an issue but it is with anything more bassy or heavy drums. The only way I have found round this is to run an external larger 12volt battery through an inverted to run the mains adapter. But that sort of defeats having a battery amp. Do you know of any other solutions?

Look for a used BA-330. It’ll be around the same price as a cube ex, but has 6 channels and WAY more headroom.
