Best BBQ & Restaurants in Jackson, Georgia! | Southern Foods! | Stranger Things was filmed here!

Georgia is on my mind . . . but mainly because of all her great foods! We spent some time in Jackson, Georgia, a small town about 1 hour south of Atlanta, to try all the amazing restaurants, BBQ joints, and activities in the area. Trust us: don't overlook this small town because it's got some HUGE flavors! We found a BBQ joint (Fresh Air Bar-B-Que) that's been in business since 1929, a local donut shop serving some of the best donuts we've ever tasted (Jackson Donuts), and so much more. Jackson is so cool that Netflix's Stranger Things actually films here. It's time to eat southern-style! #georgia #bbq #bbqlovers

What a delicious episode. Everything, the coffee, the bbq, we love Brunswick stew. Nice little sanctuary there. Love that they have space for those animals. Love good donuts and coffee. Ohhh that fritter. Nice combo of cold night and hot pizza! 🍕

You like Brunswick Stew, too!?! It’s such a regional specialty that we absolutely love when it’s cold outside. These BBQ spots had great pork and stew. We were surprised at how much great food Jackson, GA had. Those small town southern foods get us every time!
