Is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4: Turtles in Time the best beat 'em up for the Super Nintendo? Many say that it is. So I decided to give the game a full playthrough on the HARDEST difficulty! Granted, I did have to use a 99 lives code because this game is TOUGH! So check out the game with me and you may learn a few things about it! (Maybe, don't hold me to that.)

I used to go stay at my Nan and Grandads and hire games form the local rental store as a treat. I hired this on import from Japan and a converter for an extra 50p, having never even heard of it yet but adoring the first arcade game. Got this home, absolutely stunned, like having an SNK £1500 console at home

Donny is slowest but long reach, Raphael is the fastest but does least damage short reach, Michelangelo does the most damage medium speed decent reach but nunchucks hit a tick slower, Leo is equally balanced in damage and speed and reach. Mikey is my go to for hard mode. Grew up playing this game, and I played it with my sons as they grew up too. Timeless! Edit: to beat the Shredder stage where you throw them to the sceen on hard mode, you MUST use the dash-shoulder hit. They can't block it. When you hit em, wait about a half second before pressing the attack button again, and you'll throw em. Takes practice, but it can be done.

Better than the arcade version despite of less sprite animation. Better impact and the dash feature (need to be actived in the settings) make the SNES a superior version.

yes baxter is first boss on arcade the ship stage on snes is better then the arcade because the ship and cloud actually move then the ship in background shoot cannon ball at you unlike the arcade port. metalhead smashes through wall on snes which the arcade dosent do used to play it on hard and beat it . tokka rahzor are in season 7 of original .tmnt cartoon. have to run and throw foot at the screen to beat shredder have to rpt it take 9 shot and shredder will go down neon night rider is in the arcade but it longer then snes and also have more foot soilder to deal with

SNES did arcade ports like a BOSS!😎 ..."Hyperstone Heist" on Genesis was a cheap knockoff at best!🤦🏼‍♀️😅

The increase in color depth really helped the SNES.

@@GregsGameRoom and plus Sega wasn't able to secure the full rights to the game since Nintendo did that first... What Genesis owners got was a Shell(pun intended) of a once great game...

The one thing that really sucked about this game is, no saves! Lose all of your continues and back to the beginning. Gets tiresome and repetitive after a while.

And if you get to the boss and have to continue you have to start the stage over. Grr… That’s why I used the 99 lives hack. :-)
