I work at a hair salon. Washing your hair everyday is fine if your using a DAILY shampoo and conditioner. Their formulations are light, so it won't dry your scalp out. Their sometimes called "Balancing" shampoos and condtioners aswell. How many times you wanna wash your hair is up to you, but if your washing your hair 4-5× a week, i would still suggest a daily shampoo and conditioner. A lot of people come up to me and have issues with really oily scalps, but don't want to train their hair to get used to the oil because it's naturally so oily, so by the 3rd day, its unbearable. I'm kinda lucky that i have combo hair, so i've trained it that I only wash it once a week. But if you're using regular shampoo and condtioner everyday and wondering why your hair is so oily, that could be a factor.

@yanautau50413 жыл бұрын
@@imannoying_8971 are you saying that your hair is getting more oily when you wear a hat? If so, a daily shampoo and condtioner good. Or if you're on the go and don't have time to wash your hair, dry shampoo can be used in between washes. They'll just suck out all the excess oil
@yanautau50413 жыл бұрын
@@karleagomez8689 No, not really. We usually don't recommend drug store shampoo since they tend to pump fillers in there. But if you don't have access to stores that sell salon grade products, I'm pretty sure there are some good, clean brands for cheap! Just gotta do research. But for the head and shoulders, if your finding issues with it, defiantly switch to somethig else. Some people can actually get more dandruff from head and shoulders since its so drying. We actually had someone come in our store that used it, and her scalp was super red.

Tips for shampoo better : only shampoo your scalp where excess oils are building up. The rest of your hair need the natural oils as much as they can. Pump to your hand, add a bit of water, spread to fingers, slide your fingers between those roots to reach the scalp directly. RINSE and shampoo again if it still feels nasty or u see no foaming. Don’t dunk several pumps on the middle top of your oily head. U will get dry hair on the outside and greasy in the inside.

I think it’s because when u brush your teeth some of the toothpaste gets on your face maybe when u spit it out or while your brushing. And if u wash your face before brushing the area where the toothpaste was will only be wiped off and will cause acne. So wash your face after brushing 👍🏼

Niacinamide from the ordinary is really good for that, I believe. Also, the .5 retinol is good as long as you’re extremely cautious and moisturize before. @kinzey83 жыл бұрын
Well I just did some research and it says that greasy hair look is due to a build-up of "sebum," a natural oil produced by the sebaceous gland. "The trick is to break the cycle of over-shampooing.” It is also recommended that those with greasy hair start each shampoo before getting water on their hair.
@kinzey83 жыл бұрын
@eV Avoz also try changing your shampoo and conditioner As hard as it may be to resist, the more you clean your hair, the more oil your scalp produces to compensate. If you normally wash your hair everyday, it will take time to adjust to just washing it every few days so you may have to tie it back or wear a headband. This is very on trend right now! However, once your hair adjusts, you will notice a dramatic difference by not washing it everyday.
@stariadreamtea3 жыл бұрын
@eV Avoz I have the same problem. People don't understand that fine, thin hair is different. Blonde or European hair is different. I'm guessing that's the type of hair you have?
