I’ve worked as a cleaner for two Doctors in their private homes for a number of years, one is a GP and the other is a dermatologist, neither of them have fancy fragranced creams and both of them have jars of Nivea in their bathrooms along with basic Cereve cleanser and lotion. The dermatologist did testing many years ago and wrote an article for a leading medical journal here in Germany after testing a well known fancy mega expensive face cream which is the preserve of the rich and famous and had to report the findings…..Result was yes there were some ingredients that were different and of a higher percentage but basically it was Nivea. I follow their example,I work hard for my money and buy the basics!

I *love* the Colorscience Face Shield Original SPF 50 - so many tinted mineral sunscreens look to beige or orange on my fair skin - that one has a much brighter peach/pink tone and it's great.

This is exactly the content and the company especially us Rosacea sufferers needed right now and maybe a video solely dedicated to this skin condition, in the future would be more than welcome and so helpful...I can't thank you enough .

I’m testing how effective a tranexamic acid product is so I haven’t reordered the Brightly but it did wonders for my skin. I’m 62 and it’s amazing what a complexion clear of pigmentation can do to make me look younger. It’s the pigmentation more than the wrinkles that have added to my aging look.

Heliocare Mineral Tolerance fluid factor 50 has been a game changer for me. Recommended by my Derm Nurse it makes my menopausal skin glow, doesn't pill and is an amazing make up primer. Keeps dry, sore eczema prone skin happy and calm xxx

Clinique's three-step system with the alcohol in the toner/"exfoliant" ruined my skin as a young woman. I wish they'd revise those toners.
@HereDiianas2 жыл бұрын
They have different toners and one is for gentle skin and has no alcohol. I used to use it on my very sensitive skin and loved it.

They had a great one that was the “mild” formula. However, a few years ago, they changed the formula and added witch hazel and it is not as good as it once was!

Laroche Posay Toleriane is amazing. I once got rash and major irritation on my face, this cream with their thermal water saved my face! Their night cream is my favorite, skin is super hydrated in the morning. ☀️
@ashleywright92232 жыл бұрын
I have used the toleriane ultra nuit for years as my day cream. I bought if for night, but it’s not rich enough, but for days I love it. Skin glows after using this, but not heavy or suffocating.

What an enjoyable hour and 7 minutes watching you lovely ladies. Learnt so much and love those recommendations - thank you both. Dr Emma PLEASE tell us what make up you were wearing - it was so understated and the colours of eye liner, shadow, lipstick, liner and cheek highlight and blush were perfect. I think I may be close in undertone to yours naturally - I pricked up my ears when you said without the fake tan you'd look 'green'? I am light olive so would be so interested to know what your make up was. Like you, I struggle to match foundation colours. NB - great guest choice! BTW your skin is so beautiful - wish I didn't have the jowels I have and I am a year younger than your beautiful self 😊

My budget is £35 is there anything to use my skin has occasional monthly breakouts and is t zone oily. Thanks xx

I’m confused, after watching the MedCram videos on the importance of sunlight. I’ve always used SPF (PMLE since my teens. Now 58) My Vit D levels are on the very low side of normal, on high doses of oral Vit D. I’d like to see a video between the KZbin derms & the MedCram team. We need a middle ground.

Do you never use moisturiser during the day then? I’m confused if we are meant to use spf every day do we really not need moisturiser?

Couldn't a person just buy a basic body cream and whizz it together with the Ordinary's retinol in squalane (or some other cheap retinol) to get a retinol body moisturizer? I feel like this could be a good beauty hack, no?
@Thepetals812 жыл бұрын
I do this with The Ordinary red peeling solution. It was waaayyy too harsh for my face and felt like my face was on 🔥. But mixed with a body moisturiser it's fab for chicken skin arms and legs 👍🏼

@drc4168 SHE HAS HER MEDICAL CERTIFICATE. you need that to practice in a hospital or GP which she chose not to. She's never once claimed to be a dermatologist...I don't know if you have hearing issues
