Nothing but praise for this video. A presenter with a very relaxed and easy manner in front of the camera, excellent playing skills, and clearly a lot of knowledge and experience to back up his remarks. It's not an exaggeration to say that this video leaves me feeling inspired to get deeper into guitars and guitar playing.

I've found so much value on this channel. Just picked up a 224 K deluxe. The Koa is so dreamy both in looks and sound. Have a Yamaha spruce top that is 27 years old which plays fantastic but the Koa adds a new tone to my collection. Can't wait for my friends to come jam!!

I’m a beginner, and I have been researching for weeks which guitar would be best for me on the market. I have to say Taylor is one of the most popular brands I’ve came upon with in durability, quality, & easily playable. You are one I trust! & love your reviews by the way.. It has been long weeks of research and I have finally made my decision on getting the 224. It was so difficult to decide on what guitar with what brand. All I know is that I’m ready to learn and play, and I have made a great decision on this 224 beauty! Thank you again! 🙏

My old Barber gave me some great advice, he said that you can't make a cheap guitar sound like the Radio, so buy the best guitar that you possibly can, so I bought a 410MA Taylor guitar and it is still sweet. That was 20 years ago. I had buyer's remorse until I started playing it.

What a good channel. What a good presenter. The folks at Alamo are down to earth guitar scholars. I recently purchased the Taylor Academic 12e. I cannot say enough good things about the guitar. I definitely prefer the Sitka Spruce and Layered Sapele over the Rosewood and Mahogany (personal preference, but I love how bright sapele sounds). You will not have buyer's remorse if you buy a Taylor. Be of good cheer everyone.

What I like about their guitars, they are so innovative that they are almost as easy to play as an electric, this idea that acoustic guitars should be really hard to play and hard to press the strings doesn't have to be the case

I recommend Staying far away from Taylor lol I don't know what he's smokin, but Taylor's definitely ARE NOT the best bang for your buck lol you want bang for your buck, then the guitar you are going to want to get 100% of the time, which for the price points and supreme quality, simply CAN'T be beat, is a Yamaha. I have trouble even justifying buying any other brand priced under 5k

The best way to find your guitar is go into a shop and play through them without looking at the price. If you hit a guitar that blows you away you've found what ist best for you. Then you can take it along or go home and save money until you can make your dream come true. If you don't find this guitar go to the next shop. And even the same models of the same brand sound different. So ordering a guitar without having played it doesn't make sense to me. My experience of 50 years playing guitars
@Claytonkava4 жыл бұрын
For a while I have been looking for a new acoustic guitar. I’ve been looking at a lot of videos on mostly Taylor guitars, but more recently I’ve realized that it would be way more beneficial to me with finding the right guitar if I go to a shop and play some guitars rather than hearing someone else’s review. Your comment is definitely a good reminder to me.
@GeorgeMaddaloni52463 Жыл бұрын
Great video as always Chris but IMHO Taylor guitars are over priced. Don't get me wrong. They're nice guitars but these days you can get a guitar that's all solid wood construction for under a grand. Recording King is putting out some very fine guitars for a fraction of the price as a Taylor and the other big name brands.

Hmm that is really weird. This may be a unique problem to your specific guitar. I would recommend giving the guitar to a friend who is an experienced guitarist to see if he can identify the problem. You can also take it to a music store. Really hope that helps best of luck.
