Blue diamond sure is a gem, once I had a pack of burros come and run beside me on a bike trail and hurded them off into the distance,there's also real petroglyphs and tons of scenic backdrops to explore. Also my potisi is beautiful.

Cool video. Its amazing how many riders you came across. Back in the early 2000s you could ride all day out there and never see anyone. Thanks for the video!

So that was an unusual amount of people on the trail, although it is a popular trail. It was a Saturday morning, and there was a large group of people on a guided tour. I try not to film on weekends when the trails are more crowded but sometimes if the temp is good, the clouds in the sky are right, and there is low wind for the drone... i take advantage when I can.

Was just there yesterday and there was a big mojave green rattlesnake on the pathway. Pretty cool!

Yes that area has the most rattle snakes in the region. I've only seen one snake, a couple of turtles and a lot of burrows!

Great video. Do you know if Cottonwood system includes Cowboy trails or is Cowboy its own region?
@BikeRidez2 жыл бұрын
I checked Trailforks. Cowboy and Cottonwood are considered different trail regions but they are next to each other.

I think I've seen every video on your channel. I'm pretty sure I haven't seen 7 Magic Mountains or the Ivanpah Solar Station in the background on any of your adventures. *
@BikeRidez Жыл бұрын
Hi! First, I truly would love to thank you for watching my videos! Secondly, your comments about locations to make further videos is well appreciated as I've been researching different video ideas for the last several weeks. As for the Ivanpah Solar Station, I've driven past it on my way to California but I'm really not too informed yet on whether their is a trail(s) around there that are worth doing a video about. I will do some research. As for the 7 Magic Mountains. That is not too far from my house in Henderson. I will research it a bit more today and see if I can shoot out there on Friday to take a gander! If you have any other ideas, please feel free to mention them. Again, thank you for your support!

@@BikeRidez: Even if there were trails around Ivanpah, it's verrry doubtful that they would allow a drone, but if they did, that would be cool to see! Same with 7 Magic Mountains. Keep up the awesome work you're doing! *

The color on your gopro looks a little off on this video. did you change settings or cameras?
@BikeRidez2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! Yes you are correct. I tried putting insta 360 one r in log mode (flat color panel). I thought it would make it easier to color grade the footage from the drone, the action camera and iPhone. But, it was very hard for me to match the drone footage. I tried dozens of LUTS and custom adjustments but it’s still is off. After a long comparison, leaving the one r in vivid color mode seems to match the drone footage with only a little correction. Note the drone doesn’t have a flat color panel mode. I just got a second one r today with the 1” sensor mod. The 1” lens is huge next to the 4k mod I’ve been using. I did a quick test ride around my neighborhood today and the footage looks pretty good. Def more dynamic range and sharper. Hopefully I can’t test it out on some trails this weekend.

How are you controlling your drone? Very curious to know as I want to take my drone with me but don’t want to carry the big controller. Thx
@BikeRidez2 ай бұрын
There is currently only one drone that can do this and that is the Skydio 2 or 2+. I don't carry a controller. I don't even own one. I have a beacon that i carry around my neck. It has basic controls to position the drone but other than that it flies itself. There is a new smaller drone called the HoverAir X1 Pro or Promax being released at the end of this month. It has a beacon like device as well. I should have beta test version next week. I will post footage as soon as I compile some...

@BikeRidez Жыл бұрын
LOL! I feel you. I said the same thing for several years when I saw people on e-bikes when I was pedaling my butt off. But, yes, Evan I'm riding an EMTB. 40+ years of riding a non-electric bike and I can tell you the EMTB is probably the best toy I have bought in 20 years. I can now ride 16-20 miles every day, 4 to 5 days per week, even after working a 12 hour day. And.. you can get what you want out of an e-bike... if you want to work, lower your pedal assist. If you need the help, increase it.
