Yooo more Pressure! So here's a bit of useful data: The Angler enemies won't get'cha if you go to siderooms like offices and such, same if you hide in vents and pipes. Flash Beacons are quite more useful than you may give credit, in dark rooms with the Squiddles you can safely fire them as a flash won't trigger them. And also since you found the Beacons... you should try out shooting at the green eyes and Sebastian. While in the lobby before a run, you can check on your documents to check on the mechanics, LORE and all. Also funny dialogue if you keep going in 'n out of Sebastian's shop.

All the monsters Merg encountered: Z-283-Froger: The Yellow Angler Variant, It works similar like Ambush in Doors, coming back twice. Z-283-Pinkie: The Pink Angler Variant, it doesn't cause the lights to flicker, whoever she produces a loud scream that signals her arrival, the louder the scream the closer she is to you. Z-283-Chainsmoker: The Green Angler Variant, it's one of the slowest monsters in the game and you have to time it's arrival, getting in the locker while he's close, he emits a green smoke that pushes you out of the locker quicker, for me it's honestly the hardest Angler variant to deal with due to it's timing. Wall Dweller: These are humanoid monsters that have a chance at appearing in the last room you were in and slowly following you until it gets close enough to kill you, it's an instakill if you aren't paying attention, it can also camp outside your hiding spot, if you hear a wall breaking or a second pair of footsteps it means it's out. To prevent dying you should look behind you constantly, whenever you can, it could be behind you when you least expect it. Once looked at, it flees and even can be killed by a node monster (The Anglers) and obtaining it's skin grants a regeneration ability. Pandemonium: The minigame "boss" monster, similar to the Anglers, except once it sees you it goes directly at you, screaming loudly as it forces you to play it's minigame that lasts about 40 seconds, it's the only monster that doesn't go according with a path once a player is spotted, and hiding in corners won't work with him unlike the Node monsters.

You can rarely find a door from doors that's locked, and the game says you need a lockpick, then there's dialogue making fun of the fact that it's just a padlock on a lever doorknob, which literally doesn't even do anything.

Angler has 4 varients -Froger: after passing once he comes back a second time with a random speed -Pinkie: she doesn't flicker the lights, if you keep dying to her try using deaf mode -Chainsmoker: he likes to take his time, in other words he is very slow, don't go into a locker too early -Blitz: he is the fastest Angler varient, it's easy to identify him since he flickers the lights twice Hope this helps 😊

i recommend that you use the flashlight less since you will definitely need it for the endgame as its dark and hard to navigate without a lightsource. btw: - dweller chunk gives you a passive regen sorta like the herb from doors, it can also be dropped when an angler kills a wall dweller and you go back and take a chunk of it - blacklight is useful for squiddles since they cant see the light (in-lore its because its on a light spectrum they cant see) but its battery is worse than the normal flashlight so save it for the endgame

Alr merg, pls read this rq, i want you to know this That "Bossfight" entity you saw was called "Pandemonium" You survived it on attempt 1 which is pretty uncommon actually, most people die to it due to it being unexpected Other anglers will allow you to hide very far away, and as long as they dont come near you, you will live, however pandemonium requires a line of sight between you and it to be broken with a wall for example, because if it sees you, it will pathfind to you and eat you alive That green angler entity you saw was infact chainsmoker, however it's mechanic is far from what you predicted, chainsmoker is a REALLY slow angler varient, however it's smoke will force you out of your hiding spot quicker, since you hid a little too early, chainsmoker was able to force you out while passing by The wall dweller was actually a rotten coral wall dweller, in the room before it killed you, it was hiding within the coral, and when you left, it snuck up on you, next time, if you hear footsteps that arent you own, TURN AROUND. And finally, the rebouding angler was froger, it did tell you about it in the death message but you missed it on ur first attempt All in all though, you did get alot of cool things and thank you for actually reading the death messages after froger, they provide alot of help :3

Fun info: You can see Angler and the variants from afar, or even in the same room you are in (but you have to be careful or else you could die) With the flash beacon you can flash some monsters but I wont tell you which ones since that ruins the fun (sebastian can get flashed by the way since i don't think you'd try that without knowing) There are multiple ways to annoy sebastian, the simplest one is leaving and entering the vent (the other ones you can figure out)

Here's some facts about Good people (fake doors). So i'll go from most to least obvious. you can hear fake doors, there growling behind them. Also, if you look at the door number, the fake door occasionally sparks. A lesser known one is that the fake doors are always bright, if you have a dark room, the number is usually darkened, however fake doors still have a bright number. Now, here's the least known but also most useful detail, i only found this out from my friend, if you look very closely at the background on the fake door's number, you can see digital glitchy lines. similar to a CRT screen.

Its not obvious at first with all the stress, but every different angler variant has its own sound effect. They all scream differently and if you can memorize who makes what sound, you can identify the threat before it arrives

FYI, there’s 4 Anglers, Pinkie doesn’t make the lights flicker, they are purely audio, Blitz, who is incredibly fast, frogger, who attacks very fast, and chain smoker (the green thing you died to) who attacks really really slow, so all you need to do is just to wait for him to get close and then hide, also you’ve met to meet pandemonium I think. Lastly, Sebastian and Gabriel from ultrakill share the same VA (Gianni)

i dont think merg will ever recover from the pinkie encounter quick tip, the anglers can only kill you if they have a direct line of sight on you(it can still see through windows, fences and grates), they will only take the shortest path to the next door so you can hide behind objects, in side rooms or even vents in the floor, at 26:30 you probably could have survived if you had gone for the side room instead of the locker. hope this helps! note: the vents are NOT safe if its the only route through the room, because then the angler will go through the vent to get to the next door
