Love this... I have a 128 A.P.E with 483 cam in my 2018 Breakout with Freedom Performance 2 into 2 pipes and the rekluse torque drive clutch and got 150HP 150TQ so it's great to see it's on par :) I was going to get it tuned again as I was worried it wasn't hitting it's best performance but I think I'll leave it now. @MasterTechMiller4 ай бұрын
@r1stylz Thanks for watching! I'd recommend the CR480 from Cycle-Rama if you want to feel a HUGE amount of grunt from 1500rpm up until 4000rpm. If you think you ride more in lower gears and keep the Rpms a little higher then go for the CR485 from A.P.E
@CodyMcDonald894 ай бұрын
so i have a 21 ultra and looking to do a big bore kit. Ive heard for harleys dont get tied up into the HP as the TrQ is what matters.. so how well is it to save doing cyclinder heads and just keeping stock heads and a CR 485 or 483 cam and SE 64mm or just a S&S 55mm ported with stock TB be a good setup thanks!

HD came out with a Stage IV kit for the 121 (to 135). I asked a dealer tech about it, and the response was “wait two years, and the aftermarket will do it better and a lot cheaper.” The response shouldn’t have surprised me. Have you worked with one of these kits yet, and, if so, what’s your impression?
@MasterTechMiller2 ай бұрын
I haven't installed or seen a the Stage 4 Kit for the 121 to 135 yet but I have one booked in to build later this year. Screamin Eagle make great products & to be honest in most cases I prefer to use their kits over just about all the aftermarket options, the exception being A.P.E

Great results mate. I plan on just going with the CR483, 2 into 1, 5.5 injectors and I already have the S&S 55mm intake. One quick question if you don't mind. I'm doing this on a Heritage 114, weigh 170 lbs and will always ride with my wife on the back who is 105 lbs. In your opinion, would the CR483 or the CR480MT be better for two up and mild to slightly spirited riding? I rarely go over 4,200 RPM. Which cam will have the best manors? Thanks!

Good day mate from America. I just recently purchased the Road glide CVO ST vibrates around 2700 RPM to 3000 RPM in all gears. Have you noticed this or is this a common problem?
@MasterTechMiller4 ай бұрын
@RichardJohnson-c6y Can't say I've heard of it before in that specific RPM range, however we did have a new 2024 StreetGlide with a vibration that was very noticeable across the rev range & it turned out to be the aftermarket header system was slightly touching the floorboard & mounting bracket.

116/126 HP/ft-lb is pretty stout. To go from that to 132/150 with only 14ci increase and a cam is otherworldly. Don't forget to add 2-3% for the 2300ft elevation change of the Tablelands. If only emissions weren't a thing in the state of cancer, causing California we'd all be better for it. Shits me to tears the engineers have to leave so much on the table for the aftermarket to fill thanks to regulatory interference. I wish they looked at it from an emissions percentage of road use! Little to none of these bikes are commuters or daily drivers, yet they allow ships (who's fuel consumption is measured in tons per N/m) get away with whatever they want pretty much. Guess it keeps you in a job and making this content so I'm happy for that. Ahh....the good old "post lawnmowing beer rant"...Sorry MTM, keep up the good work and can't wait to see what else you build.
