You have sold me on Chestnut Springs. Don’t get me wrong, a lot of the other girlies are loving it and singing its praises, BUT, I feel like it takes a special romance to get you this giddy and those are usually the ones I connect with as well. Now, will I get to it soon with my monstrosity of a TBR? 😅 but I am excited to read it.

I've been hesitant to try Magnolia Parks because of all the toxicity. But I watched your reading vlog on it and now see you put it up in the top 2, so I may have to finally give it a try. 💝

Katie! No one ever talks about The Grownup. No one! That kid haunts my dreams!! Also please I’ve been trying to avoid Magnolia Parks and you keep making me want to read it 😂

As someone who (embarrassingly) grew up in Florida, I’m dying at your comment at 5:05 😂👏 BYW made me so mad but it was so good!! And after watching Kayla’s video and now yours, I guess I need to read Magnolia Parks even though I’ve been so hesitant! Those quotes though… ❤️

Gavin's face when he finds put his book pick was number one! I had to stop watching the vlog of the 3 of you so I could read the book without being spoilt. I also started the veronica speedwell series because of you, back when you did the vlog series reading them

I had a friend a long time ago who had exactly the same type of OCD as what you're describing about My Husband. One time I suggested that it wouldn't be the end of the world if she and her boyfriend broke up, and she fell out with me. I probably deserved it.

I had just read Someone You Can Build a Nest In when you, Gavin, and Gabby did your group read, and I was so sat to hear about what y'all had to say. It was one of the most genuinely creative, evocative things I read last year, and I kept turning to my husband like, "The main character is a monster, but it's also this really adorable queer romance." I actually think the T Kingfisher comp is pretty spot on, because I also like how her romances are more subtle and not just sprinting to the physical stuff (the romance in Nettle and Bone was adorable). Also, to anyone who goes and reads Someone You Can Build a Nest In, PLEASE read the author's note at the end. He has some really beautiful things to say about monsters and how this book explores his own experience within the queer community.

🦌❤ I read Someone You Can Build a Nest In because of the vlog y’all did and it made my top 10 also! I started the Veronica Speedwell series last year and I’m loving it! I can’t wait to keep going this year! I at least have A Certain Hunger and Magnolia Parks on my TBR because of you. I’m not sure how many books you listed are for me and the TBR is never ending. But I always love your enthusiasm about books and it makes me want to try the ones you really love. Thanks for another excellent video!

The title of Pink slime in Spanish is conceptually understood as like pink film or gunk. An example is like the red/pink ring in showers or toilets when they haven’t been cleaned in a while. So I think it describes the atmosphere of the book decaying from the disease in the algae.

🦌♥️🦌 The Veronica Speedwell Mysteries I gave a chance because of your recommendation! What a ride! I gifted Brother and one year later, it's still talked about! I gifted Tender is the Flesh, to the same person this year 🤞 Again based on your (and Jordaline) recommendation. I have 3 Booktubers that have a list by name within my Amazon inventory, their favorite books are saved there. You are one, and of course Jordaline-it was on one of her sprints or videos that I first saw you! Anyway, that's how much your recommendations and videos influence my reading! A very Happy Amazing Bountiful 2025 to you Katie🥳🙌🪴🪇
