Turkish bow is ultimate action bow. Don't change my mind. I'm using mine like over year and i totally love it. But i've used this Mongolian style (25lbs - same as all my bows because it's larp safety limit) and i can tell that it's smoother and not so much bigger. Rest i can't tell. I believe they're good - it's Alibow - but in archery i like to keep things short. Thanks for review :)

Qinghai needs heavyer arrows. It's a mini manchu.then you'll have less handshock.

@@CharliesRunningArcheryMinimum gpp for the qinghai is 13 gpp. It has medium size siyahs and protuberant string bridges akin to the manchu bow and dashao. Seems like you are using only lightweight arrows.

Great Video! exactly what i needed i was looking for a bow under 100 and thought about buying a bow from alibow anyways so great to see the comparison

Try changing the tip of the arrow, for a heavier one, maybe 300 grain tip, in order to avoid the hand shock of the bow.

You should try wolverine style holding the arrows near to the tip, instead near to the feathers.

Also. For these B-shaped bows You can handle arrows with bow hand, just grab them like you do (only with tips upwards) and slip all of them over index finger and arrange in fan-shape. I believe it's mongolian technique. If You want i can drop You photo or video how to do this.

Nice video. For me however the only possible choice is the Qinghai as my draw length with thumb draw is 34".

The Turkish bow looks great. Unfortunately, the delivery cost to Europe is another 65 USD, and I have not found any good-looking re-seller yet.

Hi, yes delivery to Europe is horrible. Also they do not plan to have there any partner to sell their products directly from here. So order more bows at once? :D

Thanks for this video! I've shot compound and recurve bows bit and am really interested in Asian style bows due to their compact size. I've yet to try thumb draw but would really appreciate instruction. Cheers!

one question, having shot Chinese fibreglass bows by 'lone star' and 'toparchery' but not by 'alibow' do they creak? with the even cheaper Chinese fibreglass bows i have so far the glue has failed when stringing them for the first time, every time or the first time the limbs are flexed i couldn't stop it from happening even when i tried to ease the bow into its first stringing. having been a woodworker for around thirty years now i reckon i know the problem. pretty sure they glue the limbs to the siyahs and the riser with super glue and the glue join on the risers gives up instantly, i do honestly believe it's the whipping holding them together. with my skill set i really am not worried i already have better glue and as soon as i source some whipping twine i like to i will rebuild them minus the creaking so no worries really, but, do the slightly more expensive ones from 'alibow' do the same thing? had my eye on the Turkish, the khan and the kaiyuan for a while now. my first Turkish arrived this morning from 'metbow' and i Love it so even with a couple of the new heavier crab bows by Nika archery paid for ready for them to make and post to i, still i do fancy trying out a kaiyuan first and maybe even the Khan and the Turkish at some point. the thing i like most about these fibreglass bows is i left one of mine weighing 40# at 28" strung for three weeks without letting her rest, checking her daily she lost no power whatsoever, not even a gram so i do like keeping one around strung ready to go which is why i like the idea of having some in my collection. no doubt once i rebuild the ones i have i will be left with a vastly better built bow, decorated to my exact liking which is minimalist (my metbow is plain black with just the gold pinstriping on the edges belly side). another reason i like the looks of the 'alibows'. but never heard one creak in any review yet and i don't know anyone in person who has one but i suspect they only use super glue on the whipping if at all. whoops, please forgive i the essay Brother 😆.

What a text :) No cracking, no problem with Alibow bows at all ever. Laminated are 100%. Those fibreglass at the beginning made a little cracking noise (the Mongolian one) but after two shots it was gone. Maybe it was more the leather wrapping than the wood and fiberglass.

@@CharliesRunningArchery many Thanks for answering my Brother. i think super glue is standard on the whipping so my guess is (if not as You said, the leather) that's where those early creaks came from if they settle after a few shots. but Thanks man at worst it's sounding like alibow simply build a better quality bow. i think sometime in the new year a kaiyuan! cheers Brother have a great one! 🏹

I use alibow manchu bows (yarha + qing-hai) for over 6 years, always strung, they went through abuse with kids, bad weather, countless shots fired, over 6 years the string gave out, the arrowrest got torn a couple of times before I figured how to fix it semi-permanently, no creaks, no power loss, shoots like on day 1. Hands down alibow qing hais are the best for larp/boffer archery or other forms of archery that employ heavier tipped arrows. The amount of abuse and mishandling they can take without breaking or malfunctioning is rediculous.

I have several great laminated bows, but the fiberglass Qinghai (činghaj) is the sexiest in my collection 😄. 60lbs with 910 grain arrows - it's a real Beast (i love it).

@CharliesRunningArchery
@CharliesRunningArchery 5 ай бұрын
Klasicky Manchu je taky podstatně delší. U luků do 120cm si dovolím delat khatru výraznější. Už jen proto, ze mě to baví, užiju si ten výstřel a mám v tom prožitek. Je to zábava, radost, ne raketová věda. Díky ta komentář a tip :)

That is very good advice, thanks :) I have the same fibreglass Kaiyuan and Turkish bows from Alibow, and I've discovered that the Kaiyuan bow needs no khatra, but the Turkish bow does not shoot well without kahtra. This is very interesting
