Great stuff Mike.. Love how it controls Analog Lab... My problem stems from a lack of Studio One template for use with it. I would love if you could do a short video on how you integrated it with Studio One, specifically the set up of External devices in order to use the transport controls on the Keylab. Just can't get it to work ... Thanks for your all efforts!!

This is one of 2 Arturia keyboards I'm interested in. The other is the more expensive keylab II.

Thanks! This is great. Have to decide if fully weighted or features is more important. I'm happy with my 49es because I just need a mod wheel and something that fits on my desk. Weighted doesn't really matter to me because I wasn't brought up playing a real piano. I've had larger keyboards with a lot of features that I just never used. I prefer to use a mouse to edit the plugin. I'm the same way with daw controllers. I just forget they're there.

I have the Keylab Essential 49, and its not used as My main Keyboard its used only for Analog lab stand alone App, 1 because it works well with it, and to Arturia dont do midi maps for My Daw Reason. My main Keyboard is Akai MPK249 and that stays on My desk, vs the Keylab with stays out the way, but is use when I need a 49 keyboard away from home because its lite.

Exactly my question - thanks, I have an Oxygen 49 and I have had terrible luck getting it all to work every time correctly with Cakewalk. It's all about the Cakewalk interface!

That thing is a pretty one. Today I've read more about midikeyboards. Since aftertouch works with CC can it be subplemented with modul wheel on any kontakt vst instead? I want to learn playing piano and record music on daw.

I just bought Arturia KeyLab Essential 61 ... I'm running Mac M1 Big Sur 11.5.2 and the latest version of Studio One 6 Pro... Studio One keeps crashing and after a just a couple of tracks my session locks up with spinning wheel... I have to force quit... I've tried everything... can you do a video on setup with Mac M1- Studio One- Arturia? or have any suggestions? Thanks! love the channel.

I was considering to buy it. Then I saw only one pedal input. I play live, I need sustain and expression. Discarded. Very poor design in my opinion

Yeah, but not many budget keyboards have this feature. You can add a usb expression port for 60 bucks.
