Looking at the economics, 4 pedals for the cost of a boss. What is the likelihood of the switches going bad? They have to make sacrifices to meet that price point. For light home use in the bedroom, it is a steal!

Good day I just want to ask if I buy VALETON EP 2 EXPRESSION PEDAL it's posible that will work on boss katana? 3:27

Yes. You'll just use the output with a TRS cable plugged into the expression pedal port on the amp and leave the input unplugged.

Can you do a Master of Puppetrs tone tutorial on the Katana. I'm debating between a Katana or a Spark 40 to do Metallica, but I would like to hear them on each amp. thanks

Is it possible that I can create pa patch with a WAH EFFECTS then USE the Exp pedal anytime. Just like a WAH WAH PEDAL ?

Yes. The only problem is that the wah effect is always on. So if you want to switch in between, you have to duplicate the patch without the wah and switch in between them to use the wah.

@@cyreljohnbelingan8329 I just bought a Behringer Hell Babe, which is like a Dunlop Crybaby from Hell and put that between my guitar and amp.

@cyreljohnbelingan8329 I have an expression plugged into the back of the GA-FC and a bog-standard little tap switch also plugged in there as well. You can program the actions for these in the ASSIGN tab of Tone Studio to make the expression function switch back and forth between PEDAL/FX and FOOT VOLUME every time you press the tap switch. Works great, just need to make sure to leave the WAH effect or PEDAL BEND effect full on whenever switching back to FOOT VOLUME. Not ideal, but works fine once you get used to it.
