Thank you for taking the time to review this. We just bought one from argos today. I've tested it out on a few small, thin branches and it struggled and clogged up. Mind you! They were wet. I'll try again once the hedge has dried out. First impression is not good though.

I'm glad you said it's £100 from Argos, I was looking on Amazon where it's £244! THANK YOU!!

Hi Sam, thank you this was very helpful. I'm looking at a different brand, but this is quite similar.

Mine got jammed with cordyline leaves and now only comes to life for a split second. I’ve stripped it down and can’t see the problem. Anyone else had this? I thought the brushes maybe but it’s only a year old and had average use.

We have tons of blackberry brambles some rather thick. Will it deal with those ok? Thanks for the demo.

why do they always use conifers? and they always trim the branches nicely before they put them in the machine.

If you have used one you know why.

This is a cutting shredder not impact. Impact shredder has a massive rotating tooth wheel which rotates at only around 60 rotation per minute and crushes the wood by impact force and mass, where things one has a rotating disc with two blades on it, and spins at couple of thousands rpm while cutting the wood.

Impact is just the name, not the type of shredder 😊
