Greets S.B.! Thanks for the "tip" - bought one via AMAZON (i.e. the, "TONOR TC20 Microphone Kit"). The price was right - for a desk-mount (boom microphone). R.C.K. of Delavan, Wisconsin, USA. For the sake of conversation: I own two hi-tech LLC companies / am now aged to 69. My late Dad was a pro musician - degree in 'Music Theory'; his mom (my grandma), played piano with the Chicago Symphony. I admire your musical gifts - you've a wonderful talent! Your videos are fun! You look a lot like my 1/2 French daughter, Claire (she teaches Physics & Chemistry in a French High School). She plays keyboards: performs at the "Cannes Film Festival" each next cycle... Three of my four adult children live in France (and all 7 of my grand-kids). I spent 17-years in Europe (1-yr at Trinity College, Cambridge, CAMBS, UK + 16-yrs in the Vaucluse of France - where I own a home). P.S. Have been following all of your "Positive Grid" promo videos. Sophie, that is a Great review .....it must be quite difficult making these videos.....a mic demonstrating a mic......?............hmmm Sophie, i know that seasoned vocal recordists would always use those Revox reel to reel "tube" recorders in the studio...........and some crazy high end mics. They were used on one of my fav ever albums which is laced with multi track vocals....... and sounds awesome. Sophie, Microphones can get insane. There is a studio near me with a mic cupboard that has 3 million pounds worth of mics in it. They are used for recording orchestra's for most Hollywood blockbuster movie---sound---scores. (about 75 percent of movies are done there). You sing very well indeed. My friend has a blue mic which he loves. It was expensive. best wishes...then V

I don’t see why not! There are different types of microphone that are more suited for certain purposes than others, and will do the job better at capturing some instruments over others! BUT, at the end of the day a mic is a mic, it’ll record whatever you want it to 😊

your voice sounds good, your guitar sounds amazing, but the microphone doesn't sound that great. It hardly had any low end or low mids. When you put your mouth right up to it it didn't give a typical presence the way most microphones do. I was not impressed with the microphone, but you keep doing excellent work!
