Is this the TBow with tiller bolts are the wrong size, the tiller bolt falls in three threads. with seven threads in the tiller bolt, its loose/side to side with no limps in. The riser it self is very light. and danerous, knock off Hoyt
@brookvalleylife724 Жыл бұрын
Have you been watching Jake Kaminski? Yes this is the TBOW, but the H7 version. No it is not light and the tillers blots work fine (nothing dropping in, just tight bolts how they should work) I have shot this a both light weight30lbs and at 42lbs and had no issues at all. I would also say never string a bow around your leg as any bow has the possibility of injuring you if you do things incorrectly. You do get what you pay for, I also have a NIK'A ET-11 riser, again Chinese and this shows how a cheap riser can be as good as an expensive riser. Jake showed how the limb bolts wouldn't tighten from the back..... well my Hoyt nexus and matrix did the same and you had to hold the limb bolt to tighten them.

I dont think of selling an exact copy of exceed anything other than robbery. As far as I know Nika copies Uukha too and that is much smaller producer that might not survive this. But of course that is my point of view. Maybe big brands are neglecting your market and they deserve to lose it to other competitors. I live on the other side of the Globe so I understand that situation might be much different.
@brookvalleylife7242 жыл бұрын
I fully understand what you say, but what about limb pockets? Who invented them? I believe Hoyt had the first ILF pockets. Should we not buy every brand that uses them??? The only way to make it better for the consumer is to have competition. However direct copying is hard to justify.
@Australian_Made Жыл бұрын
@@brookvalleylife724 There is NO innovation by this company when they steal an existing design and merely reproduce it. All the myriad other companies, who "borrowed" ILF comparability, use their own in-house development to innovate and improve upon what has gone before. Directly reproducing, involves no measure of research and development towards coming up with something better for the archer.

@@brookvalleylife724 Hoyt did create the ILF / Grand Prix limb pocket design. But, from my understanding, when other riser manufacturers started to copy it in the early 90's Hoyt never defended their copyright claim on it. Since then it became the defacto standard without Hoyt having ever officially released the original design specs. Hence why some limbs & risers have some fitment issues because ILF is a bit of a loose "standard" from each manufacturer reverse engineering it.
@renj123Ай бұрын
@@brookvalleylife724 ILF pockets - it makes some sense, because it allows interoperability. Hoyt did not patent the limb pockets, and if i'm not wrong they probably encouraged or at least allowed it so that people could use their riser and other limbs, and vice versa. BTW I have no clue who actually first came up with limb pockets. But my point is there's some kind of sensible reason for it. On the other hand Tbow copied the Xceed lock stock and barrel. like there's nothing that's different. we can say what we want about the poor manufacturing, Jake Kaminski's main bone to pick is that this bow is unsafe and I agree, but I really do think we should NOT reward manufacturers who simply steal another's design lock stock and barrel. Final note, I'm ethnic chinese, I live in Singapore (so we don't live in China), and neither I nor any friend I know would stand for this sort of bullshit. It's robbery, plain and simple. Taking someone's homework and passing it off as your own is bad enough, let alone trying to earn a living off it.

Well,I live in China and I can tell you Junxing or Taow use recycled aluminum to build this riser and it’s quality is unstable and for most new shooters,they probably need a lightweight riser,this riser is above 1300grams!
@brookvalleylife724 Жыл бұрын
Hi Leon. Thanks for the info. I guess on the good side it is recycled ;) however I have 2 of these risers and I noticed the second one I have seems slightly different to the first one (just feel) but it still shoots fine. I agree about the weight as well. It is quite heavy but it also feels solid in your hand. I guess it would make a good barebow option. If a beginner archery wants a quality bow at an affordable price they can buy a secondhand Hoyt or W&W or MK or Sammick or whatever.
