I’ve got the Sennheiser XSW-D series for my guitar, mic, & IEM (& I do the same Ber-P2 wireless trick), they’re each roughly the size of 2 C batteries. They’re the “next up” price point after the NUX & other wireless in that price point. I haven’t had any drops in connection when playing unless I’m testing range, then I get it around the 100’ mark with each set. Røde also makes some wireless packs designed for camera production that are pretty versatile beyond their application. Worth checking both brands out if you’re ever looking for more tech to get your hands on.

Love wireless, cables always end up around my foot...comes in handy during rehearsals too, I like to walk around the room and make sure everything sounds good FOH. Currently use the Xvive U2 for my guitar and Xvive U4 for my IEM. Also own a Line6 G10 I leave at the church plugged in on an acoustic channel for when I need it, didn’t like transporting the G10 around bc I feel like the USB power connection on the base is pretty flimsy.

I love being able to walk around and hear things too!

I think the most important question for tone nerds is latency and sound quality. Thoughts on those items vs Shure? I’ve never owned a wireless setup despite wanting one for years because I’m worried about those two items and the cost of a name brand like Shure was always so high. But always getting tangled on worship stage does suck!

@Tonya Dieker yikes... it’s always weird to run into some of these folks on KZbin that have their own interpretations of scriptures... would you mind leaving music gear pages to music gear discussions and take your biblical ideology to a more appropriate place?
@HeyWorshipLeader3 жыл бұрын
@sean Yes. I need to make a part 2. And address lantency (which the website says less than 5ms), distance, quantity and a couple other things.

@Tonya Dieker “all churches teach lies?” Wow. That’s a lie in itself. My church teaches salvation through Christ alone. Is that a lie? I appreciate you being here. But please think through your words and say things that align with the gospel as found in scripture and we can have a conversation. Also, consider the topic of the video you are posting on before going on these kind of rants. Thanks

I see that the plug is TRS. Are they stereo or is the TRS somehow related to charging?
@HeyWorshipLeader3 жыл бұрын
That’s a good question and I don’t see anything in the manual about it other than how it engages with active pickups. Now I’m wondering if I could hook it up to an expression pedal. Looks like I got some other things to test. Might need a part 2 video
@mickavoidant47803 жыл бұрын
Some other wirelesses have TRS. It seems to be for charging.

Question: why do I sometimes get Great clean sound with module (reverb, chorus) pedal but get muffled distortion sound? Or sometimes it’s viscera. 🤷🏻♂️. Is it cable? Amp? Never could solve this.

When these go into Sleep Mode, do Both units have to be powered back on? Any particular order?

There’s a wireless in ear system on Amazon that goes for about 200 bucks I believe it’s called “Xvive” wireless in ear system. Fluff from riffs beards and gear reviews this system a couple years back

For in ear, I use a Behringer P 2 and Getaria guitar wireless backwards. Plug into monitor and send to Behringer on my side to headphones. When I'm not using I E M system, I use 2 of the Getaria wireless on my pedalboard for ease of operation especially when messing with pedals; setting up different sounds, switching pedals etc. It's more convenient to stick my board somewhere I can reach and adjust on the fly. Normally I use the AKG wireless bug system. Been using this for over 10 yrs and haven't ever heard any reason to change. In fact I got 6 different frequencies systems of bug systems. I'm a hoarder of these systems. Don't sell any more bug systems cause I still got G A S for these. Also to not break anything, I glued a small piece of velco to the guitar and my bugs to hold them in place. Not to many people want to glue anything to a Les Paul but I did.

Hey brother, great review... I was wondering is it an automatic connection when you turn them both on separately, or do you have to hold a button on each at the same time for them to connect?
@HeyWorshipLeader2 жыл бұрын
It's an automatic connection. You do not have to hold at the same time. I do this with multiple and they both connect to their partner with no issues.

i recently picked up a Joyo JW-03 system (cheap, yes...) and I also got the Boss OD-3 for christmas (along with my Gretsch Rat Rod) and after playing with it, I'm getting a ton of white noise. It seems the noise is there regardless, but exponentially amplified with the overdrive on, so much it's hard not to hear the noise even while playing. i thought it was the overdrive at first, but i swapped out with a cable (a cheap cable too...) and the noise was gone. Do you hear any white noise in this system? I'm not sure I want to spend $150 on a wireless system just to play around with it, but if I know it will work, it's an option i'm willing to try. my hope was to set my amp and pedalboard off in a corner without dragging a 20ft cable through the living room. SURELY, someone will trip on it. Never fails...

Yikes... Tanya Dieker is running amok on the comments ... Gotta love people quoting selected (and out of context) scripture as if they are John The Baptist reborn and lead by the holy . spirit to condemn those evil satanic worship leaders talking about musical equipment 😂🤣😂🤣

Haha! That’s a way to put it. Yeah, it’s what you get when you put stuff on the internet. I choose not to delete anything unless it becomes hate or bullying. So we’ll see. Thanks for hanging in there!
