I review the best budget Yonex badminton rackets, the Yonex Astrox 88S Play, Astrox 88D Play, Astrox 99 Play and the Arcsaber 11 Play. These badminton rackets we released at entry level price points but pack BIG performance! They are very easy to play and are fantastic value for money.

Loved this review.♥ Loved that Yonex made it looking like and feeling like the pro model.♥I truly like the naming convention this time around. It is better to hear you own an 88 series racket than hearing that you own an astrox 38s,d,39 (truly sounds a downgrade) racket. Keep up the great work. Thank you.

Bought the AS11 Play as my first racket. Factory strings broke after 3-4 weeks. But been wanting a head heavy racket, so I was thinking either 100 zz or 88d Pro. But I ended up ordering 100 zz. I play mainly singles. Hopefully it's the right choice 😄

@@CKYew I was considering the 99 Pro but watching your "ultimate power" video it ranking below the 88D on most and always behind the 100 zz made me not consider it as much. Also since it Is the most head heavy of them I was afraid having used a well balanced racket like the AS11 Play I would think the 99 Pro would be too heavy when I play longer sessions. I guess the advantage the 99 Pro has is the bigger sweetspot which would make it better for a newer player like me though?

I enjoy playing aggressively whenever I have the opportunity. I participate in both doubles and singles matches, although I have a preference for singles. I use a head-heavy and flexible racket and feel quite confident in my arm strength. I am torn between choosing the Astrox 1 DG and the Astrox 99 Play for my playstyle. What would you recommend?

Hey, you should review and compare with budget racket the astrox 9. Is astrox 9 comparable to 88d play/game/tour? Some review i read from Indonesia that astrox 9 can be high end killer.

Hi CK I’m an intermediate doubles male player and I am looking for a fast and powerful racket. My technique is decent but because my current racket, nanaoflare 1000play is not exactly head heavy my smash is not that steep. My arms are not the strongest but not weak. Do u think I should go for 88s GAME or PLAY?

I'm an intermediate player and am wondering what would be better for a back court doubles player, the 99 play or the 88s play, for reference I have been using a very old Carbonex 8 sp and already have a strong clear and smash. Also I'm considering these options because they are the only racquets available for a decent price where I live.

Hello, I am considering going for the Astrox Plays (as a singles player) but I can't choose between the 99, 88s or 77 Play. There's so little reviews of 77 Play that I can't gauge my decision, what are the differences between 77 and the other two?

I have 99 and 88d play and think 99 play is quite a bit better, it could be strings that is making me think that but as it is 99 play feels like a powerful overall good racket. On the 88d play i have the nanogy 98 string and it plays fine but on the 99 play i had nanogy 99 which played really good with lots of power and control and now have aerobite string but haven't used much as i recently changed strings

Both are head heavy don't buy the Astrox 99 play as it is the most head heavy so it will be really slow . The 88d is also head heavy but not as the 99 play so if you play back of the court in doubles get the 88d play and if you play in the front in doubles get the 88s play

Do you think that the Astrox 99 play with the stiff shaft will be harder to generate power for a beginner-intermediate player? I am currently using the Nanospeed 9900, which is a very old racket with a stiffness level of "very stiff", and is also headlight balanced. I feel like I am not powerful or experienced enough to use this racket, and want to find a racket suitable for doubles that is less stiff that can produce good smashes, while also being quick around the net. I am trying to decide between the 99 play and the 11 play. I am now leaning towards the Arcsaber after hearing that the 99 play is the most stiff out of all of the play models. Any thoughts or suggestions?
