Hi Wade, great video for any candle maker! Especially anyone looking for their next wax to use, or even someone just learning. I use Coconut Apricot Creme for my "luxury" line. I use soy Bliss and whatever the wax at Natures Garden is for my usual candles. I started many years ago with the wax from Nature's Garden. I found it because I'm a skin care formulator first! However, I've come to love candle making as much although it's a huge swing in mind set, lol! Now that you've done your favorite container waxes, it is a must that you share your favorite wax melt waxes or blends. I blended my own. So do share when you get a chance to film. Hope your having a wonderful summer and that the weather your having is better than the 100 degree plus weather we are having! It's been just awful here! Looking forward to seeing your next video! I use the All Natural Blend (Beeswax, Coconut & Soy) from Aztec Candle and I love it. It has a great cold throw and the hot throw took a bit of playing around with pouring temp and I finally nailed it down and the hot throw is fantastic. I am brand new to your channel and I am loving it. I have been making and passively selling candles for about 12 years. I wanted to sell clean burning candles and chose soy wax for that purpose. For the majority of those years I have used the GW now AAK 464. I have honestly had great success with that wax. But also I can say it hasn’t been totally consistent either. It seems like some boxes of wax I’ve bought the hot scent throw was terrible and other boxes, same scent, the hot throw was great. I wasn’t sure if it was the wax or the fragrance oil that was at fault. I guess I could also say I’ve liked the 464 but always looking for something better and more consistent. I would love to learn more about these other waxes you talk about. And I am trying to really get serious about growing my business. Everyone who buys my candles LOVE them but I want to be selling more consistently, which is what brought me to your channel.

464 has changed their recipe 3 times in the last year ... I am over their changes. I had one box that would not burn .. the candle went out after a short time. No matter how I wicked it. it was a dud. I had to throw away a large box as the wholesaler would not hel. everyone complained about it, I don't trust them and will never use it again

Just started making candles in January. I started off with IGI 4630 and I really LOVE the HT and CT but wicking is very difficult for me so i gave up on that and moved on to Soy Bliss and i am in love with this wax. It did give me the round about getting the perfect wick which i personally think i did but i would love to wick using one wick in a 3" diameter jar which is a bit challenging for me. I am ddl wicking and tripple wicking my vessels. So far soy bliss did not fail me. Thank you for all the tips and tricks you share with us.

Would you recommend just sticking with the single pour and poking/heat gunning all just in case of sink whole? Single pour def is a time saver! Thank so much for any advice!! Smooth tops and no sinkholes, I heat the glass container and pour @ 150 degrees. My biggest problem is wicking but I think it's more the container size than anything because I get wax hangup on the sides of a (3.125") Libbey tumbler...uhg!

I WOULD LOVE if you could go over the best waxes to use for wax tarts/snaps and loaf type wax melts. I’ve found a company that is very popular and has the BEST HT (the wax literally last forever, 4-5 year old wax throws like crazy!) and the wax is very soft compared to every other “tart” type wax but it comes in mostly loaf form but also shapes (again soft, it has no snap to it) but it’s phenomenal in HT. I’m sure it’s a custom mix and I’m trying to figure out which waxes would help with making this type of wax melts. Pretty please 🫶🤞🫶🤞 LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!

Hey Wade Thomas Thank you so much for a great tutorial as usually!!! I have used 6006 and MP117. I have used MP117 in waxmelts. The only thing is that it is not a single pour wax to me. I love 6006. Also, I have used 6046 as well. What I have learned from this tutorial, is that there is no need to combine waxes. I am in the process of trying to create a wax blend that has both even amounts ofparaffin and soy. However, maybe it is better just to work with just one.
