Best Capture Card Under $30 | WARRKY 3.0 4k Video Capture Card

I bought this through YOUR link the other night and I got it based SOLEY on the 1440p60 pass thru. My monitor is a 1440p 180hz but my PS5 and XBox Series S will not recognize the 1440 at all BUT it does recognize 4K(2160) 60fps and 1080 120hz pass thru on both. Somehow my monitor even recognizes the resolution and even says that its displaying in 4K. idk how true that is BUT I will say this is easily the best budget cap card I've bought and I got mine on sale for $19. Also, I've had audio issues galore with other cap cards when connected to my El Gato chat link pro but this one had ZERO problems. Thank you for this great review! You made a sub out of me. Keep up the great work! I enjoy some of your other videos as well.

@@TekToyzGaming That's great to hear! I hope it does the same for me! I've only had it a few days but it def beats the 4K Amazon one I got on sale for $30 about 2 years ago in every aspect plus it doesn't get nearly as hot. Now I'm just bummed that I got an okayish cap card just lying around. lol

@@TekToyzGaming o Ok was looking again at minute 7:12 you mention max for recording was 1080 guess that was your source resolution, but if your source is 4k, does it shows and saves 4K clips?

I have this exact same capture card and i figured out how to get the game play from my ps5 into obs studio just so a friend can watch me play via discord screen share. they see the game but not the audio and i cant hear it either. I followed everything you did to a T and still nothing

Sorry to hear you're having an issue. this may be a PS5 setting issue. It can also be the in-between of the discord screen share so it's a little different from what I setup. make sure you've done the following on the ps5: 1. Disable HDCP To capture your PS5, you must disable HDCP. You can do this by going to Settings > System and turning off Enable HDCP. 2. Set your audio output In the PS5's Settings menu, go to Sound and then Audio Output. Set the output device to HDMI to send both game and chat audio to your capture card. I've also read up where usb headphones going into ps5 don't work with capture cards. Not sure if that's related but may want to look into that if you have that type of headset. The setup I have is over pc and iphone which works ok. Are you at least getting audio from the OBS recording?

For some reason I can hear all other game audio besides dialogue through my headphones when I have this plugged in. Any idea what the problem is?

So it depends how you’re using the card. If you’re not using intro capture any audio then make sure your computer is not set to ‘listen’ to this device in sound settings.

Are these type of captur cards limited to the specific refresh and resolution pairings or bandwidth? For example, can I pass an xbox series x through to a 1440p 120 monitor? Or feed my 4k120 tv a 1440p/60 signal and let the tv upscale ?

@@CookinBeatloaf yes and yes. I use it on a monitor at 1440p 120hz passthrough. I did it in this video as well. Same for 4K. Just set refresh rate to 60.

Does this work for PS2 hardware? I got a fat console and I play my games off Free McBoot. Wanna get a capture card I can stream on a budget (under $50) with until I can get the Elgato. Would this work for me? If not any suggestions? Thank you

@@korenmanga it depends how your connecting it. I connected my phone to the card hdmi in port using another usbc to hdmi adapter. Then ran another hdmi from the out to my monitor. Did it this way because I needed more length and to record.
