Thanks for sharing! A lot of project cars pricing seems to be made by wishful thinking. Some cars are very reasonably priced. I wonder if I should be happy seeing those high pricing. That gives me some hope for the stuff in own in Switzerland. last week I finally got my classic number 6 inspected and registered. Where I live the Goverment wants to make it nearly impossible keeping classics on the road. You fail inspection wit a rust hole the size of a dime. Even if those cars have a frame.

My dream car is the Patrick Swayze 57 Chevy from Footloose lol. And a GTX or Roadrunner with a big ole thumper Hemi of course. Daily driver would have to be a 66/67 Ford Fairlane 500 with a 4 speed and a rowdy little 289. Absolutely love those little 289s. lol that 67 Ford was probably originally a 6 cylinder 3 on the column truck and someone put a 302 in it. My 302 swapped F100 camper special topped out at 65mph with the stock rear gears. Never used 1st gear unless I pulled out on a hill. It would peel the 295 60 15 tires rite off of it in 2nd gear.

I was overelmed in the first 5 minutes of this video,where was the guy at that hauled a chevelle all the way from Boston to Texas, he could have got that one on the trailer for 25k, thumbs up, great video

11:53..walked right by it, but that is my dream daily driver work truck there, color scheme and all!..long bed, 3/4 ton, and even has that neat tool box built into the bed!..only thing I see I would change is, put stock wheels back on it with original chrome dog dish hubcaps, and a chrome rear step bumper....,

I know they joined the confederacy but I just never thought of Texas as being in the south. To me that’s the middle of the country. Guess it don’t matter though.

Ah, the Pate Swap Meet. The most overpriced open market in the south. Swap meets used to be where people go to unload the clutter they have in their garages for whatever they could get, while others search for great deals. I know you can find some rare stuff at swap meets, but these sellers today seem to believe the spare parts they no longer have a use for are made from solid platinum. I was at Pate this year and could no believe the outrageous prices. Some dude was asking $650 for a set of four rusty 1974 Chevy Malibu rally rims with 3 caps. Another was asking $2,900 for a bare Ford 289 block that needed to be bored. Ridiculous.
