Granola Bar Recipe
Ingredients:
2 1/2 C. Oats
1/2 C. Nuts (Optional)
1/4 C. Butter
1/3 C. Honey
2 TBS. Brown Sugar or Coconut Sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. Salt
Chocolate Chips (Optional)
Directions:
Measure oats and nuts into a baking sheet. Bake at 350* for 5 minutes to lightly toast the oats. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt butter and honey over medium heat. Add in sugar, vanilla, and salt and stir. Pour the toasted oats into a medium-size bowl and add the saucepan mixture. Stir until well incorporated. Pour mixture into an 8"x 8" baking dish and gently press it down. Top with chocolate chips and more nuts if desired and chill in the fridge until set. Cut into bars and enjoy!
