Hi April! I’ve noticed that if you refrigerate the dough before you scoop it- it can be a bit challenging to manipulate. I’ve found it helpful to roll the balls and put them on the cookie sheet and then put them in the fridge for an hour. Then directly from the fridge to the oven :)

Thanks for the recipe! I'm always looking for a good chocolate chip cookie recipe. My all-time favorite recipe is Martha Stewart's "Alexis' Chocolate Chip cookie" recipe. These bake up really flat (all that butter!) and are chewy in the middle but crispy on the outside. I can't wait to try this one and hopefully have a thick cookie favorite!
