I got this used for like 70. I have to say, it played better and felt better than my old 2013 Gibson Studio (before I changed it's nut and tuners). The fret board is amazing for the price and I found it better than a lot of Squiers and budget Ibanez's that I've played. If you buy it though, get locking tuners, top-wrap the strings and change the pickups. It'll be a great work horse guitar. Also, it's a good idea to replace the bridge. It's pretty crap but a new bridge can be replaced and bought for cheap.

I got one I modded it but I still need to put new pots and a new jack. Guyker nut ninja tuners epi bridge rail pickups and a switch. Its been sittin for months but I picked it up last night, perfect tune. I laugh at gibson

I know! Everyone complaining about gibson tuning, and my inexpensive guitars stay in tune great!

On most of these, intonation can not be set properly. The bridge needs moved 1/8" to 1/4" to the rear. Requiring removing the insert, plugging the hole plus matching and patching as best you can. Then reinstalling the bridge. THEN the bridge is too close to the tail piece. You can move the tail piece which is just like moving the bridge, OR in my case, I just top wrapped the strings on the tail piece.

Thanks for watching and commenting! The roller bridge that I replaced it with was about 1/4 inch thicker (nut to tail direction.) this gave me the extra required adjustment necessary for intonating. Not saying that it's perfect everywhere up and down the neck, but I was able to get the 12th fret close to spot on. I believe the high E was just out of "perfect" if I remember correctly. But the end result was a playable guitar. To be honest I don't think I actually checked, or even tried to correct the intonation with the stock bridge. But I know it was no where near properly intonated out of the box. Also, if you are top wrapping for the purpose of less string tension, you should try a roller bridge. It makes 10ga strings feel like 8's. Thanks again, and keep on rockin!

27:36 that's quite not true, I have a Ibanez AS73 and the Pick guard screw was vibrating I had to make a bigger hole for it, I had to replace the tailpiece, I had to polish it, I had to adjust the bridge

Sure, you can certainly get a dud, but normally you get a fairly playable instrument from ibanez. Partly because you can usually go to your local music store and play it before you buy it. Thanks for watching! Filming part ii right now! She'll be rippin' soon!
