With the M drive transmission, it is a true manual transmission. I have driven them for years now and love them. If you remove your foot from the brake it starts to engage the clutch to go. Never remove your foot from the brake unless you hit the accelerator to go. It will prematurely burn up.the clutch.

@canadianconcretepumper1979 alot of people do not understand them and that is why they hate driving them. Biggest thing is just let the truck do what it wants to do. When in tight spots or offroad always stich to performance or performance plus if available.

With mDrive changing piston cups is a bit tricky. Unlike manual transmission where you can engage pto in lower gears

Why no European truck in Canada? Is it the price or the regulations/permits? 😉
@canadianconcretepumper19799 сағат бұрын
@@martinmay91 I believe it’s regulations. Emissions and/or axles spacing/suspension I do believe. Our available cabinet units here have become ungodly expensive for what they are. Most definitely ain’t price 😂😂😂

@@canadianconcretepumper1979 We have Bauma in April 2025, so I'll ask around. Canada is not the USA, but from my point of view there are hardly any large trucks from European countries here either. I drive a 2017cifa 32m with canbus sensors on the boom, and the angle sensor on the ring gear has a tendency to gradualy change angle over time, so from time to time i has to reset all positions for it to be accurate. It can deviate 45-90 degrees when its at it's worst.

1st off, you're going to love the ils pump kit. The 63 i ran had one. All around the best. Wish they were able to fix the issue it had and not pull it out and put a 16h in it. Rear steering on a 56🤔😏 LMFAO. A lot of Kool stuff on your pump Scott Sutherland. The M-drive. The icing on the package. The guy's on the hose'hose men' will notice the 17ils kit.
@canadianconcretepumper197917 сағат бұрын
We were debating on the 19 iLS, but literally every single person I spoke to said it was overkill. If I recall correctly, was it you whom had said to me that the 17 iLS would outpace an 18 HLS kit? The rear-steer is a requirement for our provincial road regulations here. Drives like a go-kart, but also adds close to $50K to the purchase price.

@@pietmorees2775 Very true Piet. We don’t have really any options in terms of a more “plush” cabover unit it our market here. Some of the conventional cabs are quit Cadillac, but come at the expense of an increased turning radius as well as a slight loss of reach over the front end of the truck.
