i love the x ergo with deeptooth cutting blade, it fades tight and easy, erases lines easy and dont need to use trimmer to bald, but for a barber that cuts all types of hair, more torque is needed so rebel, apex, and seniors are excellent choices

I'm not a pro barber but I am a clipper/trimmer nerd. Started off with the 5star Cordless Wahl Senior and that was ol' faithful. I picked up the JRL 2020C and the Babyliss Lo Pro Clippers. Babyliss FX Influencer and Boost + trimmers. My go to's are now the Babyliss Lo Pros. I really like using the blade. I do like the notches on the levers to keep work consistent and same weight more or less as the Wahl and a nice notch for your thumb. The think I don't like is that is that for some reason, the seam on the lid seems open so when it seems like hair can creep in the motor after you use it but so far so good. I hear you on the JRL's it does take getting use to. I do like the long battery and quiet motor. Still feels cheap almost feels like a Tesla, and as powerful as it may be, it lacks the feel of cutting but it does the job. I have those 3 to handle any job but I have my eye on the SC Rebel.

The annoying thing about the rebel is the missing .5 guard😤

I use the Wahl guards anyway 🤷🏻♂️

@@Seancutshair but how does the zero guard work? Is it the same as without a guard?

Bro I would definitely make good use of that give away. Specially in Washington state. My name would blow up if I had that set.

Love all your videos, keep up the great work! Can you do a video explaining the differences between all the gamma clippers? It’s hard to understand all the differences and no one has a video on it as far as I know. Also can you do a video for the gamma mythic? If you have one on it already I apologize and please link it. Appreciate all the you do for the barber community.

I dig my Rebel. But it pulls at wide open. I don’t know why either. It’s only 2-3 months old. And the cutting blade is kinda weird too. Not being flat. Any input on how to fix the pulling would be appreciated so I can start using it again. Thx

I’d just take the blade off and adjust them. Most the time when clippers/trimmers are acting up resetting them will fix it

You should download a decibel meter on your phone and compare how loud all the clippers are using that. The rebels scream compared to every other clippers I’ve used over the last 12 years.

I use the .50 BMG. To me they’re awesome. Powerful, quiet and run for a long time. Clean cuts too.
