Speaking as a beer leaguer, no matter how strong I get my core, not gonna see "ripped" abs... too many beers, lol!. And besides, a little extra fluff just adds to blocking area.

The stronger and more mobile you are going into surgery, the faster you recover. Even starting with a physiotherapist now will help.

Being lean isn't a must, but extra body fat adds weight which can slow you down. also can restrict movement depending on how much extra you have.

Thanks Coach; Would a - slow? - ab roller regime be similar / as beneficial to your first ab exercise? Thanks again.
@goalietraining2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I think it would - the problem with the ab wheel/roller is you can exceed your limit of stability rolling out if you don’t understand your functional range, whereas the walk out is more self limiting. With the roller you can also do it in a way that is more ab dominant or a way that is more hip dominant, but you can’t really do that in the walkout. I think if you have a great awareness, then you are good to use the roller/wheel.

Could you group this collection of exercises into a single workout e.g., 3 sets of the exercises performed in the video?

No, that isn’t the intention, but you can sprinkle one into each of your full body workouts for the week.
