I don't have a favourite stitch but after seeing these I will have. I go to a craft group where we crochet (and for those smarty pants, haha, who can knit) we make blankets for charity. Trouble is I have trouble crocheting and chatting. I need easy, no brainers that look good but take not much effort. These are perfect. My favorite stitch for baby blankets is the Suzette stitch. It’s a simple one repeat that creates a very nice texture, but has no holes for little fingers and toes to get into. I’ve also use this or larger blankets. I learned it from Crystal, but have seen it in other places now that I know what it is. It’s not always called the Suzette stitch. All it is is crochet and double crochet, and the same stitch. The stitch repeat. You always end with a single crochet chain one or two and start all over.

My favorite baby blanket stitch is coffee bean stitch. It is such a squishy stitch, easy and quick. However you have opened my eyes to some gorgeous new blankets that I need to try. But that bridges border is fantastic. Thanks for putting together such a great selection.

Of course, I remember the Speedy Granny Ruth Blanket, Christa!! It's definitely my fave for baby blankets as there are no holes. Actually, it's my fave for any blankets! My brother requested a BIG ( 55x75 ) brown afghan for Christmas. I can tell you this did not excite me, but i remembered you showing and telling us about the granny baby blankets. So I went through your patterns and chose the Sober Baby Blanket pattern. I decided to use 3 colors of yarn (2 solid, 1 variegated) in a non traditional stripe pattern that i came up with and it's looking beautiful. I just love ❤ how easy this pattern is to crochet. Can’t say my favorite they’re all beautiful, beautiful beautiful and I love all of your color choices and the yarn you have used the borders are beautiful so I think what I’m going to do is keep this video start at the beginning, and even though I have made drunkenness and sober’s And even a pin curl, I think I’ll start from scratch and do them all over again I have a pile of paint box 5 packs probably about 10 or 12 different colors five skeins each. I am going to have to go look and see if I can make one blanket out of each color bag Anyway love them all. Love you love everything about your channel. By the way you look really cute today not that you don’t always.
