Still probably the best/most affordable way to play some real pinball, and would make a very nice Christmas present for a child/grandkid. Adults would like it too, but if you can swing it, the Pro version is pretty amazing. Do you have any interest in table-top pinball?

Bones, you will never find a greater champion of the pure sport of hockey then me. And it's long past time for Fester to go. What's crazy is Cossa only got in b/c of injuries. Major changes need to happen for sure!

It'd be cool if they came out with just one team on the pin - although the Red Wings are so bad now that might be a bad idea! Meh, I'd take a LA Kings version too!

I bought one for the grandson, and after putting batteries into it, I liked it so much, I went and bought myself a Pro version. I love it. The pro version adds a speaker switch. Yea!!!. BJ's has the Pro version for $80. Deal of the century!

$80 for the Pro version? That's the steal of the year! Doing the direct comparison reminded me again of just how good the Pro version is.

Thanks for sharing with us JDV as these little gems are released. I received my Pacman version two weeks ago and it is a blast. I have also managed to wire up a 5V charger to it in a very un-invasive fashion so I can run it on batteries when needed (and not void the warranty too!). One thing I have noticed and perhaps you may have noticed this happen too JDV? Sometimes you lose a ball as it is seating itself onto the plunger, it sort of wobbles into the sensor area and the machine either ends the game if you are on the last ball or skips one ball count? Again, thanks for sharing and taking the time to make such fun videos! I love them!

Thanks for checking out the video Chris! I haven't experienced any problems with skipping/jumping ball counts on either version (but it happens all the time on my Jaaks pinball). Maybe a loose wire?

Yeah, I can see it as a "gateway drug" to introduce people to pinball. I shocking number of young people have never actually seen/played a real pinball machine.

I cannot find these anywhere. I’m very interested in the Pac-man but it’s sold out everywhere. The only one I can find is on eBay and I think the seller wants more for it than the cost of the pro version.

Yeah, think there's a lot of interest in these this season. I would say to keep checking at the usual suspects as they may get more stock... good luck!

Lol this is madness. Flooding the market with the same fun but simple pinball product at this very point in time won't help the bigger versions which I'm more interested in. The Pac-man will do well I'm sure so that makes sense but I wouldn't want to collect every one as the game is too limited as an already owner of V.2. I think the bigger two make more sense once you've played the smaller one. Large Pac-man is due out the UK in a few days time. 12th Dec 2024. Thanks for sharing Evil Genius! 🤘🙂👍

You know, wonder about that too, expect that the price difference is large enough that it's likely aimed at 2 different groups of buyers - one aimed at people buying a gift for a child/grand child, and the other looking for a Xmas treat for themselves. It's awesome that the UK's going to be able to get these machines!
