I'd argue the Georgia is actually considerably less than $10... as shown on the wowsl page, you get the following: 4500 Drachmas for finishing the campaign with admiralty backing (Velos as reward) - 1750 doubloons (2500 up front, you get 750 back from doing the campaign) 1500 Drachmas for doing the calendar - $0 2000 Drachmas for completing the treasure hunt - $0, and if you finish it, you are guaranteed a T5 premium. Yeah... that's 3 ships guaranteed for a total of 1750 doubloons: Georgia (or whatever other ship you want for the 6500 Drachmas), Velos for completing the campaign and a T5 premium for the treasure hunt. Don't forget, throughout the calendar event, treasure hunt and campaign you get a bunch of crates - each of which has a chance (albeit small) to also drop a ship.

Worth noting, you could also do this for: Belfast 43’ Siegfried Independence Agile In this list I would ignore the two tier 5s. Belfast is an amazing light cruiser with radar, sonar, short smokes and good HE with 1/5 pen. Light cruisers can be hard to play if you’re not used to them. Siegfried is a massive German battlecruiser with 380mm gums with good accuracy, huge up pool, amazing armor when angled. Tough choice!

@@DiedwhilemakingwafflesHE doesn’t pen like AP does, it explodes ‘on contact’ most ships HE ‘pens’ 1/6th it’s gun caliber (120 mm guns HE pens 20 mm of armor) Some ships get 1/5th pen, and a lot of German/British HE is 1/4th pen, so for a British DD with 120 mm HE it’ll pen 30 mm, unlike the 20 of the 1/6th pen AP actually ‘pens’ based on angle, shell velo, armor scheme, etc, all those AP characteristics

took all the ships with the drachmas, and with the crates about twenty other ships, including Bismarck B, Tirpiz B, (now i have 3 tirpiz!) and two other level 8, a level that I don't play for now (Carnot and Pommern). my targets were the Jean Bart and the Brandenburg, but they didn't come out. and the aircraft carrier Ark Royal, 0.5% on the Halloween 22 crate is difficult!

I don't particularly like Georgia, in theory it is very accurate and in fact it is, when the RNG helps you because with only 6 cannons it is a bit sad, it is a ship that depends on broadside enemies to do damage, if you find a match like that I guarantee you that it is +150k damage easy, now there are matches in which 90% of the enemies will be angled towards you and Georgia's HE are strong however, taking into account the dispersion and the RNG, maybe 2 or 3 hits? some chances of fire? there are matches that can be very frustrating... For me the best option is the Belfast' 43, of course not everyone likes its gameplay style but in my opinion, it is the best option for those who don't have any of the ships.

Honestly, though, I also enjoy playing the lower tiers, so the Rio De Janeiro has my attention. She is basically an alt-history Agincourt (which I have). As regards your videos, I am truly fine either way. Whichever works best for you. Maybe don't lock yourself into one specific choice UNLESS there is an overwhelming vote one way or the other.

I picked up Georgia white when that came around from a crate spent about maybe 20-30 got multiple ships even Musashi from the Christmas event last year. The only issue I have with Georgia white is the Bureau projects don't recognize Georgia white as a Georgia. Georgia, Siegfried and Belfast '43 is the smarter deal regarding those Drachmas for certain. Borodino? I rented it last winter, played the hell out of it, it's a very good ship, but it's not in Georgia's stratosphere of greatness capabilities at Tier 7. Of course this only works if one does not have the Georgia. In my case I've had the Georgia since June/'21 and also have the Siegfried which leaves me only the Belfast '43 to consider. I think WG missed an opportunity with the Borodino by failing to make it a campaign reward ship considering that it's been almost 2 years since they last offered a Soviet ship (Krohnshtadt) in Oct/'22. Yes, it's been that long. The pay wall for Borodino isn't an attractive concept to me and I suspect a lot of players may enthusiastically agree with that opinion. Maybe I'll land it in a Black Friday or Santa '25 crate this year 😜 If one doesn't have the Georgia, right now it's a HUGE opportunity to get it at a lower than normal cost however, there is also a 70% Coupon being offered in the Missions part of the game requiring that one must win 60 battles in Standard or AI mode, so there is an additional option in which a player can land a Tier 7 ship for only 5,250 doubloons or a very good Tier 6 ship for even less than that. That coupon can make purchasing the Yudachi, Plymouth, Pyotr Bagration, Hampshire, and a few other ships very affordable.

Belfast ‘43, she’s got Radar, decent DPM, loads of smokes with a smogathon build, sonar, torps, overall a good cruiser

I'm not really a big DD player (just not my style) but I really want the Georgia, Is it worth treating the campaign as the "Second Georgia campaign and a free premium DD" ? I plan on getting the Atlantico with the 70% off coupon and I will have more then enough doubloons to get admiralty backing, it total it would all cost me $25 is that worth it for Atlantico, Georgia and a premium DD? I'm also a bit unsure about the campaign since from the little bit I heard the DD isn't really that good what's your opinions on it?

Velos is mediocre (I’m glad, Lushun op). Personally yeah that’s a pretty insane deal imo. You could scoop those ships up cheap, then vow to not spend another cent the rest of the year and you would’ve done well

@@DerkaGames I think I will go through with it since I'm a big BB player and this is my opportunity to get Georgia, and there's always the chance the Velos could get a good buff in the future like for example how Flander kinda sucked when she was released but now she's a very fun ship to play. And I'll have enough doubloons left over to get admiralty for a future campaign if it peaks my interest!

If you want a chad cruiser get P bag. Also both of those French Bbs are super fun in my opinion. I have recent videos on those 3 ships for more info. Atlanta is weak and hard to play now days. Azuma is super fun. Atago is pretty weak in 2024

I recovered your videos, and I like that you take back ships a bit old, showing the builds, it is very useful for new players who are approaching the game. ! in the end I took both french battleships, hoping in the future to get Jean Bart and the commander at dunkerque. I was tempted to take the russian cruiser too, even with doubloons, but then instead from the crates that I took instead, I took out the polish destroyer blyskawica, and even the Mainz!

I’ll see what I can remember off top of my head. B43 has 30mm pen, torpedoes, and short duration smokes that reload faster. Prolly more health as well, I think there are more but can’t recall. I’ll do a vid likely next week

Im still waiting for your opinion on the new blue archive collab commanders, mostly about the new usn bb commander vs new jersey and the new french CB commander vs saint louis as i tend to have similar playstyle to yours and tommyboys builds are sometimes weird (he used sponge on algerie...).
