You could put a black rear sight, the contrast would be cool looking. It'll look like the front sight. Fde on black handrail. Then black on rde upper receiver. I love the Magpul Pro metal sights. Their slim, and can withstand a beating.

I am building a home defense 10.5" barrel so far I have the barrel in and I ordered stripped upper and lower M4E1 Aero Precision recievers with the enhanced Aero lower build kit in the mail so far and going to get a compensator next to come out the handguard maybe an inch or less. But you have a very nice pistol I hope mine will come out looking just as nice as yours great job👍

I didn't like the magpul handstop. Wasn't comfortable so switched to an emissary development handbrake. It's insanely more comfortable and easier to get a good clamp.

Guns are just like women. I prefer my women that are pleasing to the eye and well as functional. A few years ago I was at a gun shop and asked to look at a CZ Mini Mauser in 7.62×39. It was a beauty with blued receiver with blued barrel and walnut stock for $600.00. The goofball behind the counter wearing a Confederate cap told me that I should buy something better. I asked like what? He picked up an AK-47 and showed me what he carried. Same caliber and half half the price. Yeah but the AK-47 is ugly I told him. He then explained that it has a capacity of 30 rounds instead of 4. I forgot how many rounds it can shoot per minute and easy to reload. I then asked him if he had a chance to be with an ugly or beautiful woman and have daily sex with the ugly one or weekly sex with the beautiful woman which would he pick? He said the beautiful one. I asked him why not the ugly one since she's not high maintenance? He just stared. Okay I see you point he said.

I admit I like to keep my ARS clean and if I could describe sometimes it bothers me but in the end they are tools not toys. I did a two tone ar. Thinking about dropping it from a carbine to pistol length. Either or i love the 2 tone. I put rear fde and front tac black for the sights. Looks decent i think really mixes that 2 tone coloring. Nice looking build buddy. Shoot fast n stay safe

I'm going to build my first AR pistol soon. question on the shockwave blade. does it matter what length of pull setting I have it set at? will it be considered a pistol no matter the length since the blade is a brace not a stock? or am I only allowed to use it at the shorter settings? thanks for a great video and the fde looks good

OK so now that ik i 100% want a "short" rifle... i will pay someone at this point to help me out and explain UPDATED laws about the ar pistol/ sbr world.. let me explain my situation some.. my name is Jon, ever since i was a kid my father has always taken the family camping, hiking, kayaking (basically anything away from his desk, 9 to 5)... I currently own a normal length, 5.56 ar, i love it but once i noticed the whole "sbr/ar pistol" option i said "holly shit, that would be so amazing to have a short length rifle with a powerful caliber, so the next time i hear a coyote or a wolf close by i dont need to move around in my tent just so i can point my gun in the right direction!!" (.. ya i go camping in some primitive areas) .. i got all excited and was about to pick out a new buddy, but then i heard about ATF, NFA, and a hole bunch of legal unconstitutional bs and got worried.. i dont.want to get stoped as im coming back from camping, and then get charged with a felony for something i had no idea.about.. so *PLEASE* help me! i would greatly appreciate it!

looks real good.. my 16in build is an OD Green/ Black two tone. handguard od/ black front sight magpul, upper and lower black/od rear sight magpul.. maybe try throwing that black sight on the rear and leave the front. the sight posts are still black so it's not like you'll be trying to matchup two colors for a sight picture.

My first main AR that I still own is a FDE and black. Love it. I went with FDE rear MBUS and black front MBUS since my receiver is black and the handguard is FDE.

I would check with the ATF on length. It looks a little long to be a pistol. I thought the overall length according to the ATF, for a pistol is 26 inches.

If it's comfortable to shoot, and it goes "bang" every time you pull the trigger, then beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I've seen *UGLY* guns shoot one hole inside of another on a target, and that's what counts. I guess it depends on what you want your gun for.

That is a fine looking firearm. Taste is subjective, IE, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". So don't change the looks based on someone else's opinion unless you are selling it to them. But as a pistol I don't get using iron sights since it is too heavy to grip and aim single handed, and a fore and aft grip would make me want to shoulder it. Personally I would use a red dot sight and a laser, or something along those lines. But this is based on my experience, not yours, or any of your viewers. Also, my build would be based on the 300BO cartridge in subsonic. Usage would be serious home defense should my pistols be insufficient(?), and game acquisition in a SHTF scenario. Not wise advertising your location. I enjoyed the posting, and will subscribe, thanks
