I've got to admit that I also am a smashburgers fan as of late. But a good ole thick burger won't make me made. I do usually go thick if I make up a fancy grind

Good looking burger. I like my deer to be pink. Could you taste the bacon or was it pretty well in the background? Anyway....since you went there...maybe a lamb burger sometime? I raise and finish beef and lamb....and soon Duroc pork. Our barley finished lamb (hogget) is great in a burger with just SPG. I reckon it would be even better all fancied up. Just a suggestion.

You're raising all the good meat. You can taste the bacon. It's not overpowering but you know it's there. Helps with moisture also. Appreciate you Jim
