Good thing is I will be cooking this recipe at Memphis. We were on the waiting list and they called and offered us a small spot. We will see how it goes.

Those are some good lookin ribs! Probably, the best raw ribs I've seen. Thanks for sharing this video with us. It gives me some ideas of products to try out this year!

I have a number of yours and Heaths rubs, sauces, glazes and brines, they’re all winners in my opinion, I’d like to see you cook me unwrapped as I get some pretty amazing results on my SnS grill, have never had a bad rack, beef or pork or brisket, love your channel too, your knowledge is invaluable, and the comic relief makes me smile as I’m watching, thanks legend from Australia

I was a witness to this creation by MOJO and Magic Mitchell. They were sampling , testing and analyzing until they came up with the Homerun version of the winning ribs. Great video Jay , you are a TV personality in the future.

Best 10 minutes of my day Jay! Those ribs are done Mojo style and can’t argue with the results. That color is picture perfect and look so juicy. Those judges know a dang good rib when they see and taste one! Cheers my brother! Outstanding!

Look forward to trying em this way. I love to use the Garlic Jalapeño with Killer Hogs The BBQ Rub, but I have a shaker of Heath’s Competition Rub just waiting to be opened up soon.

I don't think we will. We are getting to go back to Ecuador on our mission trip for the first time since covid. I love bbq but Ecuador comes first.

Gorgeous ribs Jay. Been on Heath's Garlic Jalapeno as a base for a while now. It's great stuff. That's quite the combination of flavors you got there but if you say they work, I believe you. Just gonna have to convince the wife that yes, I need MORE rubs in my cabinet...lol. Thank you for sharing the recipe with us.

Probably a stupid question. But does the layer of bbq rub 3to 4 times through the process not come over powering or is this a competition thing for a one bite WOW factor.

Not over powering at all. The main ingredient in most rubs is sugar. Especially mine. If I were using a rub where salt was the main ingredient , then yes, it would be to much.

Beautiful ribs, and the level of tenderness looks ideal: just firm enough to still be able to sink your teeth into them and easily pull the meat from the bone.

We will be cooking. They called and offered us a smaller spot. We always sign up for a big spot and they didn't have enough and cut us. When the smaller spot opened up we were lucky enough to be on top of waiting list.
