Play forest, build a base either in the middle of lakeside village or geese lake. By night, feel free to chicken out and wet your pants, knowing there are “some presences” around lake but they can do nothing to you

I partly agree with that, however when building, it's mostly just grabbing logs and sticks. In reality, he probably would've played this for at the absolute least an hour, but it gets really tedious just gathering stuff as you not only have to grab a lot of it, but it also takes a while to get. The log cabin would probs take 10 minutes to build in itself at the least, but with fighting cannibals, hunting and a whole lot of other stuff it makes this sort of stuff way longer. So a long record session in this game would usually result in a short video.

0:04 pause at that map/whole island showing part. i remember building a the top part of the sinkhole (where all the trees are right next to the drop) but mutants would always surround the area so i had to move and i set up a cabin right by where you built (the small area you called save) and the mutants just wouldnt leave me alone there, plus the cannibals made it even worse. so i had to go on a huge journey around the map and i found out the crates at the beach was a good spot to build the whole time.

You mentioned about the enemies not appearing again at around 9:15, I accidently found out a fact about them spawning once. So I was basically just stuffing around bored with the artifact at the landbridge, slaughtering dozens of cannibals and just piling the bodies around the beach. But sometimes, they would just stop turning up even when I tried the artifact on the "attract" mode. Now don't quote me on this and I am not sure whether this applies only to the local area or what-not, but I realised that if you kill too many cannibals in one area within a certain time frame they'll stop spawning all together. How long the time frame is I'm not sure, but my best guess is approximately half a day to one full day's worth of time passing before they start spawning again. I'm pretty sure you can restart the spawning by reloading your game, but just picture them the same as animals: Animals will only spawn as a certain amount in the area they spawn, and once that amount is killed, they won't respawn until you reload your game. For example, at each are where crocodiles spawn, only two at a time will spawn. If you kill one, only one will remain until reload. If you kill both, that area will no longer spawn crocodiles until a reload. In terms of numbers, this is the same with the boars: only two spawn per area and won't respawn if killed until reload. You can check the areas for animals spawning at "The Forest Map". However, with cannibals, they do NOT require a reload to start respawning like animals do, only a time.

I live at the plane, which spawned in the main cannibal camp. We had 2 armsies show up on day 8, and after that, we built like crazy. Pro tip:dont build at the main cannibal camp unless you know what you're doing. This was my first time playing, and we almost got murdered by the sausage dude. Fun times.

I just prefer the punji spike walls. They are an actual wall when sprung, so even in its spent form it is an effective barrier. It is tricky to set them up in a way that closes all the gaps, but the trick is to use rock walls between them while in blueprint form. You can make the rock walls high enough to be impassible or leave it a knee wall that you can easily jump over, but which is harder for the cannibals to use. You need little sneaky ways past your own defenses like rock walls like steps to jump over log walls. This will help when planting blueprints so you won't get blocked by your own gates.

Hey Farket! Thank you for this idea! I got myself alot of bone armor this way and it's been really fun. But then an Armsy came and wrecked my the traps, then got into the base and started wreking everyting inside. Any tips on how to protect against Armsyies? Also, can Cowmen one hit the Deadfall Traps if they ram into them? Cause for Armsy it only took a couple of hits to knock them down

Build a bone fence inside the deadfall you can stack them 3 high . it will keep them from running into your base. Build a fire at the enterance if it gets crazy , light it. I had a base right on the landbridge surrounded by deadfalls. So many bones from constant attacks.

This is a game with problems but still a very fun excellent game. By the way, what if you put a fire next to the other side of the birthday trap (the one ofo which you (he) built a circle of)? That way the body of the attacker could immediately fall into the campfire and start burning. You just keep picking the bones up.

hey farket you should do a season were you join a native tribe and try and become the chief. the way you join a cannibal tribe is you throw i think one or two tennis balls at them and let them attack you they will then bring you to there village and you then start at the bottom rank. and if you break the idols it will make them mad at you. (please like so farket can see)
