Thank you for this great video but what about playing against a player who’s running the 5 out freelance constantly with a fast pace guard (harden, curry, irving, fox) just to name a few and who has great stick play and iso’s all game… what defensive settings do you suggest? Does these apply as well? Those users are irritating

@@whal3YT yeah good point. this setting is so wack for me. sometimes i set to 25 and have success. other times I get whooped on because of it. it does help to have a high setting if they are driving a lot though. but spread offenses it hurts me badly because they come over all the time even though I dont need help.

@@forbidden76 I usually use the in game menu to turn off help altogether and play interior d w my center. I got herb jones and klay at 2 and 3 so they can usually cover the perimeter.

When you get passing lanes are you just positioning the player in the lane then switching to a different player and they automatically get the steal? or are you putting them in the lane pressing square then switching back? Please make a vid on that I would win so many games

Honestly this stuff only works in exhibition matches using it online sometimes is pointless bc your A.I is only as good as the server for that game! All games are different everything might be clicking and working fine in one game but it could be a complete failure & nothing is working at all in the next game sometimes your A.I still comes to help, still gets beat back door and still doesn’t guard the screen right

Does anyone know if there's a way to have individual defenders stay home without using deny ball? Say I want to stop the backdoor cut but I don't want that defender to help, and I'd like the defender to gap or play moderate but stay home on the assignment, is there a way to do so? Ironically, even when I use 'leave him' in the defensive settings, and set the defense to double on drive I'm seeing my center draped over non shooting big men at the 3 point line.

I get what you’re saying. I usually do a team adjust on the floor, and pick “stay home”. It usually helps but somehow my A.I. just does what it wants and switch anyway🤷🏽‍♂️

Idk why but when I play for money on sites I think people know how to change your defense settings. Every time I do my settings bout to start the game my opponent pause the game then they do their defense adjustments then I pause the game and all my defense of settings are different or my opponent settings. I pause the game and do my d settings again. They pause the game again and do their settings and then my settings get erased again.

"Paint mashing is dead this year"? This is the worst 2K in terms of zero Interior Defense and blocking. Steph Curry is dunking over my DM Kareem and Okafor and I have perfect block timing holding down turbo. Its like 2K will only allow your team to get 1-3 blocks per game no matter what. Years past I could get 10-15 blocks per game because I have my timing down. This year the most I have had is 5 blocks in a game and averaging 3.5.
