It's totally unfair to not list the brands you don't sell.

@@samafshar lol, that's because they don't sell the top rated DAP line from iBasso...

"The Shanling comes in at 295.." Me: oh, $295, not bad. No, 2950 dollars. Again, two thousand nine hundred and fifty dollars..😂

And it doesn't even have 1% better sound quality than something that costs $295 either...

@@waynethang9034well a little bit. Not a lot. I have shanling m1s and it's grand. $200. I am saving for an ibasso dx180, as the Shanling will sit on my stereo and be operated by remote. But if I didn't need to do that, I would not need to buy something else, if I want the sound of a cs43131 dac, for example, like in the dx180, I can buy a dongle for $80 and plug it in to my shanling.

I think this DAP list flawed because as small as the DAP field is, since you dont sell Cayin, Fiio or Hiby, youre missing 50% of the market by omission.

Moon... Please down to earth... 10 percent price of Hiby compared to AK only 10 percent lower sound quality

You don't say anything about these DAPs. What dac chip do they use? What is the power output? Snr? What level of DSD do they support? Do they do 512? Etc. There are a bunch of things we need to know about a DAP, not just sales talk. Why would we want a as opposed to be? Who is this machine made for? You mention the first one is a Tidal only machine. Is the Tidal app any good? Or is it severely limited? What is the operating system of this machine? You see what I mean?

@@wahid-lg1kk Thank you. It wouldn't surprise me that the audio quality of products half the price are 97% as good.
@wahid-lg1kk17 сағат бұрын
@@Matlockization This is actually the case. You have to know the tech, not the brand. What dac chip does it use? Does it have good femtoseond clocks to cut jitter? Good fpga? What amp chips are used? If you familiarize yourself with these things, and the sonic character of the different choices, you can analyse a product for suitability. My Shanling M1s has extremely good internals, and for $200 competes directly with other stuff in the $500 range, as an example. But would you like the Shanling house sound? Reading about these things on Head-fi is a good way to familiarize yourself with these things. Also, dongle dacs, plugged into your phone, if used correctly, can be just as good as high end multi thousand dollar DAPs, for a couple hundred. Some research will give you access to amazing sound at low prices.
