Newtro, if you want to use VRR, press the joystick on the back of the monitor and scroll down to the "Gaming" tab on the left, then scroll right to enter the "Gaming" options and then scroll down to "Adaptive-Sync" and select it on. I had an old 1080p lcd tv when i got my ps5 a little while back and started with the calisto protocol and thought "yeah, this looks pretty amazing, who needs an upgrade". Then i got myself an LG C4 and told myself to shut up and never speak again. Oled is a thing of beauty. I'm pleased for you mate....you deserve a nice screen for all your hard work.

QLED's are good! Don't quite have the same blacks as OLED but it's damn close and more lightly lit environments look even better! I've just upgraded to a 75" 144hz 4k QLED, arrives Tuesday. Cannot wait to see how the Pro takes advantage of it. There's something to note about OLED's - they still suffer from screen burn, QLED's are more durable. For most people that doesn't matter but for me who plays long sessions with watermarks often on screen - it becomes a genuine issue I've faced.

A good mini-LED QLED is very close to OLED and they are much brighter. Even though burn-in is rare these days, still get the peace of mind with QLED and not having to worry at all about it.

I have this monitor and it's crap.. this has to be a paid advert. It has a popup that appears on the screen every 4-16 hours, doesn't matter if you are gaming etc. The popup prompts you to put the monitor into a pixel refresh mode that takes 4-10mins. If you opt to skip it, it records that you skipped it so that way if you get unlucky and get burn-in, MSI can reject your warranty for user neglect. Also why would you buy an oled to NOT buy a Pro? The Pro is greatly enhanced by an OLED or premium display lol. 32 is also still a smallish display for really appreciating 4k.. this is more for competitive gaming which is why the popup is so intrusive... imagine being in a shootout for a BR win and it pops up... other OLED monitors do the pixel care in the background while the display is off. this is a huge fumble for this monitor.

I guess VRR needs 2.1 HDMI. if it doesn't have hdmi 2.1 then most probably it doesn't support VRR. for black would suggest you to check HDR might be helpful also HDR experience is sooo good!!

I play console games on my tv as it is more relaxing & engaging on my recliner or couch but it's all a matter of preference. Great video and this is a great tip, I don't feel like I am missing out too much with the PS5 Pro, but the major update in the PS5 pro is the AI which might end up being added into the other PS5 consoles. I have been gaming on and LG TV which is OLED and I have been very happy with it.

I think it's more about calibration to be honest. You can take a tv you've had for years and if you were to calibrate it properly or differently today it would feel like a brand new tv and games could look significantly different. I recalibrated my ps5 HDR for my Q9FN a week or so ago and my games looked significantly better just from calibrating the HDR better.

You, my friend have switched from an LG to a Samsung. Samsung have patented their QD Oled technology. So if you see any monitor say QD-Oled that is Samsung selling the screen they made to MSI, or whatever name the monitor is. At least that’s what I picked up from the digital trends guy. I could be wrong, though. The two top market dogs are LG and Samsungs when it comes to OLED. LG being the top dog because it supports Dolby vision whilst Samsung does not. The Sony a95k was top dog out of the blue until LG came out with its G4. Love Samsung displays but lg is lg. the g4 is my dream tv. It took a few years of research to confidently say this shit and the more I looked at your screen I was like “that’s not LG.” I look and sigh at televisions like normal people do browsing mansions on real estate websites. Nevertheless an awesome investment.

@@lehas. Really depends on what you want. The LG is a matte screen which may or may not be something you like. For me, I had to go for a matte version because the room my screen is in is a very bright room with a large window. A matte screen's better with strong lightsources. When you have a dark room then you will probably get better results with a glossy screen. The sound cominng from the LG I posted is incredible. Was really sceptic about sound being good without any speakers. The sound is loud and clear. Pretty much also the reason why the LG is still 1400€ Another 'advantage' is that you can turn the switch that makes it a 480hz screen at 1080p. Honestly never use that since I want to play everything in 4K but it's an option to have. :)

Depends on what you are looking for. I have one and don't regent it at all. You can run GT7 at 120fps and 4k. Callisto Protocol 4k at 60 fps. If you have a 8k tv 30 fps at 8k. Ff Rebirth is amazing on it. Spiderman 2 running and looking great on it. Think of Ps5 pro as performance mode with 4k graphics. TLOU Part 1 and 2 4k 60fps. Stellar Blade is really good on it. All in all, it's a great console so far. Not for everyone but definitely awesome. If you have a big TV it is really noticeable.

Nice upgrade! I just went from 4k 55inch LCD to 4k 55inch OLED 4 years ago and thought it was a huge upgrade. My go to game that impressed me the most was Ori and the will of the Wisps in HDR. Actually anything with great HDR implementation + lots of dark areas of the screen would blow away your old monitor(can't beat that contrast). A second thing that I noticed after going from LCD to OLED was motion clarity. I found it easier to track fast movement in games, motion just looked cleaner overall. LCD seems to add this inherent motion blur. Although as a downside 30fps games look a lot worse tho (just an excuse to never use 30fps then :p).

Lol nope wait and see. Now you have the monitor you will need the ps5pro. Now you will notice the blurry, the 30fps is super noticeable. You will see how awesome better resolutions/fidelity will look. And you will notice upscaling. I have pro and lg c4 65 and Im so glad playing at 120 fps or 60 fps for high quality mode. The real issue is tgat the ps5pro should have been the ps5 in my opinion. Sony just made a money grab once they saw xbox specs.

Wouldn't go near the PS5 Pro, they haven't even used the power of the orignal yet, so I'll save my cash for the PS6 if I choose to get it coz this generation has been dogshit with no games but remasters, Oled screen looks wicked just bought a 65inch QNED hope it looks just as good, keep up the top reviews pal!

I bought a pro then returned it a week later to then realise after going back to base ps5 it is 100% worth it then went out an bought it again......worth every penny.....P.S i do have a 30k gaming room so the price wasnt the issue.
